anyone else remember in highschool being forced to attend a fake drunk driving scene complete with ambulances pulling in and pronouncing your classmate dead and putting him in a body bag and taking him away while his girlfriend sobs and then the subsequent funeral with pamphlets and his girlfriend giving the eulogy or no

Dude we had a grim reaper who would show up in the class and just silently take away a classmate it was fuckin wild
SAME^ and everyone that was taken by the reaper would be in the next class dressed as a ghost.
The dead girl in the accident had to lay on the gravel for at least an hour while they did the drunk driving speech outside and it was 90+ degrees out. She played dead like a champ.
We had that. What’s really awful is that we actually had students die in a drunk driving incident sometime around then.
