one thing i also want to talk about is like. as a fan of fundy since july/august 2020, i'm… so incredibly happy to see his plotline get absolutely fulfilled.
i don’t think it’s over, there’s obviously going to grow from fundy’s death. but i am… so incredibly happy and exhilarated and just. i can’t comprehend how fucking happy i am that after 2 years, fundy gets to go somewhere in his lore.
and not to get emotional about yipblr but. we’ve really been on this ride for almost 2 years and i hope you all know that we absolutely deserved this masterpiece of a lore stream. we’ve waited for so long and faced comments about how cc!fundy didn’t care about his lore left and right and. well, we got there. thousands of writing and drawings filled with so much love for fundy, and we got there.
and just. auudhfhdh im feeling sappy. it really feels like yesterday since i made my first post about the pet wars. and now we got our moment of absolute catharsis (despite the fact that fundy died LMFAO).
we aren’t perfect, but thank you so much to yipblr for just. being there, believing in both c!fundy and cc!fundy, and cheers to us enjoying more fundy stuff in the future <33 u guys are a fun feral wild thing and much appreciation to our collective insanity
as much as fundy possibly committed suicide in front of wilbur to prove a point, i don’t think that it should be the main focus, mainly because it’s not just about him proving a point to wilbur- it’s about how all of fundy’s hurt culminated in the last 2 years cc!fundy’s entertained this plotline of neglect and self-deprecation.
first and foremost, let’s look at what fundy was doing moments before. he was telling wilbur about how he doesn’t need him or other people to give him recognition. this is an absolute turning point because this the first time fundy owns up to the idea that this isn’t entirely his fault.
now, he wants to let go of the others. he wants to let go of wilbur’s grip on him.
with that in mind, it wouldn’t make sense that all fundy wanted to do with his death was to prove a point to wilbur. why have an entire spiel about wanting to stop caring about other’s lack of respect to him and then make his death entirely about wilbur?
obviously, he wants to prove the point of “wilbur has hurt me, others have hurt me,” but i don’t think that’s for wilbur. instead, let’s bring up how fundy began this plotline of neglect since the pet wars. august 2020, two fucking years ago.
he has been hurting for such a long time.
and that possible suicide was a culmination of that.
i think that this should be our main focus instead of insisting that fundy was trying to prove a point to wilbur. it’s not just about wilbur.
