Character A has disappeared; when they come back to their friends, they’re surprised to find out that they’ve somehow been replaced by a doppelgänger, Character B.

Character B has been suspecting that there’s something wrong with them for quite a while. They’ve had a hard time relating to their friends as well as a harder time remembering thing, and have felt more on edge lately. That’s when Character A shows up.

In a world where dogs are deemed illegal, a group of friends has to smuggle a teeny weeny puppy around government officials in order to help it somewhere safe. Thing is, they’re all scared of it.

Character A is on a roadtrip with their family. They’re asleep, but they’re jolted awake when the car comes to a sudden stop. They look around, and no one is there in the car with them. They look out the window, and there’s no one anywhere.

No one, but a pair of impossibly bright eyes glaring from behind the clouds.
