My fully finished Cersei cosplay! I am really proud of this costume, and being able to make most of it while going to school and work both full time, as well as studying for my boards exam and living a tiny bit of a life.

I’m still totally happy with my scrollwork, I wish I could have made it a little thinner, and I’ve beaten myself up about it previously, now, probably in the future, but I am still so proud of everything I learned and did regardless of exact screen accuracy.
All these new embroidery techniques, chainmail, and working with pearly worbla, really great time with all of it!

I am still in awe of it taking 240 hours versus Faramir which took a whopping 550 hours. More than double!! But that costume is on its own fucking plane of existence.

This is one of my favorite costumes from GoT, and I could potentially see remaking it. The birds and lions I am most proud of, and don’t think I could do much better, but now I want to make it using proper silks, silk thread and the such!

But I’m happy this costume has come to a close. As I’m writing this, I finished it about a month ago, so maybe as you read this a month and a half? Month and a week? Something like that. Currently I’m in the mood to start on King George III, so we’ll see.
