Empires!Solidarity headcanon

When he first arrived to his kingdom he accidentally killed a water spirit that lived there, a massive cod fish that before dying attached itself to the top of his head (curse of binding) and turned the land into a swamp, as well as turning Jimmy into a slime hybrid.

“What about Joel?” Gem asked.

“I trust him as far as I can throw him,” Lizzie answered.

Gem considered her for a moment. A ten-foot ancient sea creature with biceps big enough that she could probably benchpress a whale.

And Joel was, well he wasn’t gnome-sized, but he was very small.

All things considered Lizzie could probably throw him.

“How far is that?” Gem asked.

Lizzie pursed her lips and shrugged.

“I’m not sure, it’s been a while since I tried. Let’s check.”

They landed in Mezalea about twenty minutes later.

“Joel!” Lizzie called, heading into the palace.

“Hello, wife,” Joel looked up from the pile of shulker boxes he was sorting.

“Can you take off your elytra, please? And set down that shulker?”

Joel didn’t even hesitate. Lizzie scooped him up and began carrying him outside.

“Are you gonna throw me again?” Joel asked.

Gem walked after them. None of the guards seemed bothered and she silently wondered how many times this had already happened.

“I’ll throw you in the direction of the ocean so you land in the water.”

“Thanks.”

Lizzie gently kissed his forehead and flung him with all her strenght.

“That- That’s pretty far,” Gem noted.

Lizzie shielded her eyes from the sun to try and see where Joel had landed.

“Yeah, seems far enough.”

“Is he gonna come back?”

“Maybe I should go get him,” Lizzie frowned. “Or tell some dolphins to help him back.”

like, imagine your ruler and the codfather, the newest ally to the ocean kingdom, coming to your house and naming your newborn.

THEN it’s revealed that the codfather is the ocean queens actual brother

I can’t imagine what it’s like for that child to have been named by the queen’s brother
