I just know this series would have been incredible

Marvel has announced a Midnight Suns comic book to match the game release in September!
“Coming in September, Ethan Sacks and Luigi Zagaria assemble a new team of mystical heroes in ‘Midnight Suns’ #1.”
It’s the first time we’re getting a book with the name of the team, since they were more like arcs/crossovers.
The team matches some characters in the game (which explains Wolverine), along with Nico and Illyana. Instead of Robbie or Johnny as the Ghost Rider, we’re getting Kushala (yes!!!), whereas Blade has been part of the team since the very beginning (it’s his 4th, making him the only character to be a member in all four versions). Lastly, we’re getting Zoe (SHE’S FINALLY FREE FROM STRANGE ACADEMY YEEES, LET’S GOOO)!
Personally, I’m sad that it’s the first Stephen isn’t around to gather the team (it has always been him or Wong). But I’m also absurdly happy to see Illyana, Nico, Zoe and Kushala!!
There’s a mispelling discourse going on (Midnight Sons/Suns) but honestly I don’t mind that much since both are great names and one of them doesn’t imply it’s a team made exclusively of men. So all good, all nice for me.

Having fallen in love with the team book concept on STAR WARS: BOUNTY HUNTERS, I’m primed and ready to put this lineup of heroes through hell…so to speak.”
“Seeing the first issue pages come in, I can also say artist Luigi Zagaria’s art is going to cast a spell over readers,” he said of his collaborator. “It’s just stunning work. He’s at the top of his game.”

It seems that Stephen will be involved (sorta), now let’s wait and see how they portray him in the flashback since it’s all we’re getting for now :’)
PS: I adored this team! It’s almost my perfect cast, it’s only missing Jericho and Stephen, but it’s okay, we’re getting Magik and Zoe in their places.
Super hyped for this. I’ve been dying to have Illyana and Nico interact more in canon. One of my crackships.

- Blade would take a while to warm up to you. Easily one of the most emotionally shut off beings to ever exist. It’d be a slow track from him not caring you exist to considering you an acquaintance, then eventually a friend, and long after that more.
- He’d try to convince you out of being into him. He’d justify it by saying he’s not really human, it’s too dangerous to be near him, etc. But with patience and time, he’d come to see that you weren’t going anywhere.
- Blade would absolutely hate arguing with you. He’d do it if he felt it was necessary, but he’d prefer to just come to a quick agreement and move on.
- He’d want to keep your relationship a secret. Whistler would know, of course, but he’d try to keep you out of danger as much as possible. Even if you could kickhisass, he wouldn’t want you used as ransom or some such thing.
- Once it’s finally settled in for him that you two are a thing, it’s happening, no turning back, Blade would be pretty passionate. He wouldn’t speak much still, and he wouldn’t be affectionate often, but his touch would be purposeful; to let you know he cares for you.
- Although he’d want you safe and would be protective of you, he wouldn’t just hover around and shove anyone away that dared to look at you. He’d let you handle yourself and your business, but he’d be ready backup at any time.
- He would inevitably be a gone a lot. It’s part of his… “job.” He’d make sure to make the most of the time you two had together, though. When he’s home he’d go full do not disturb mode. Anyone who interrupted your time better have a damn good reason.
- Blade would have no expectations about your relationship. He would treasure you, and he’d want to make sure you were happy. But he’d have no time limits on things and he wouldn’t expect anything in specific to come from your time together. The pace would be set by you. If you needed a break, he’d respect that and give you your space. If you wanted to become closer in some way (moving in together, marriage, etc.) he’d be ready whenever you were. Once he’s committed to you, you lead the trajectory of your pairing.
