docshaner:

So remember kids, if you want to see more nonsense like this, pick up another copy of the Buddy Cops one-shot while you’re out getting your comics so you can give one to a friend. Or maybe even people you don’t like that much. It will bring you closer.

Please forgive the slapdash look of the drawing, I put it together before I had my coffee.

scarlet vision fans would never confess that wanda actually have strong feelings for simon williams whatever those feelings are emotional or sexual. Thats the main reason she got attracted to vision in the first place. She would have to get simon back from death again and they’ll say she lost her mind or whatever.

Some thoughts on What could happen to Wanda and maybe an idea of how the Young Avengers could work in future films or TV series. (Warning Spoilers for Doctor Strange 2: MoM and Various Marvel TV series)

So, after thinking it over, I don’t see why Wanda couldn’t come back. Or for that matter her actions could lead to a Young Avengers film. Allow me to explain.

I’ve been wracking my brain since the ending where after taking down Mount Wundagore, there’s a flash of red that seems to shoot out. Now this could just be her power escaping, but I don’t think that’s it. I think that it may be Wanda, and, because we now have at least some hints that the X-men exist thanks to Charles being in the 838’s illuminati, it could be useful to (since Wanda and I think by extension Peitro in comics were brought back into the mutant fold it seems) use them as part of a plot line to self discovery and hopefully bring her full circle into a place where she can be seen as heroic if not flawed and helped with her powers.

Thus, I’m thinking maybe a TV series would work better over all for this, though it could start with a solo movie and move into the tv show as it would give more of a wider scope to explore things.

So hear me out here is my Pitches on how to bring Wanda back (and probably make a good redemption story) and also how the Avengers story could be done going forward.

Solo Scarlet Witch movie:

We start out with the last moment’s of Wanda from MoM. We know she brought down the walls of the Darque Hold, at Mount Wundagore.

At that same time in California a young woman, Holly LaDonna (a wannabe witch in training) was using a spell that she found via the Youtube channel of Glamor and Illusion (aka Glynis and Ilya Zarkov) two magic users who were once a pair of thieves that have since gone legit. The spell that they show, which is a nod to famous old mediums who were debunked by Houdini, is supposed to allow the magic user to call on a spirit and trap them in a ring.

However when Holly uses it, it summons Wanda who is near death. When the Scarlet Witch appears, as full flesh and blood person, it freaks Holly out as, for one thing this is a living person, and two…the person doesn’t have her memories. Holly tries to get help for the woman (she gets her to the hospital), whom she doesn’t know is the Scarlet Witch, and contacts her room-mate Lorna Dane who is out of town for help.

The two talk and Lorna, who knows about the Westview situation, suggesting that she may know something about the woman that Holly summoned but doesn’t give details. She tells her to alert the authorities.

During this time there’s been several attacks in LA by a stranger who seems to be ripping apart people with magic. Detective Alice Gulliver is on the case, and is known as The Wu, and is hunting the creature down. The man (werewolf/demon) comes to the hospital and comes after Wanda, who doesn’t understand why it wants to hurt her or Holly. The two women mange to get away and Wanda uses her hex magic to stop it, causing her to have flashes of what she did during WandaVision and Doctor Strange 2.

Detective Gulliver manages to get the final blow onto the beast shooting it with a magic bullet. Because of the pain in her body and so forth Alice takes her and Holly back to her place. Here they meet with Alice’s friend and her late partner’s wife Greer Nelson. Alice and Billy (Greer’s husband) were on a case with what appeared to be an organized crime group. But there was more to it, as the group seemed to have magic and were looking for Alice’s late mother August Wu. And Alice thinks that now someone knows Wanda is alive and wants her for some reason.

The trio go to see Madam Lan, Alice’s grandmother who has been living with her. She, who is not magic, explains about the Wu history and that there’s some connection to opposing the DarkHold. At first Wanda to see Glamor and Illusion and learn that, yes they are magic users, but they can’t help her very much because they’re more low level showmen. However Glynis does contact a friend of theirs once Wanda and Holly leave to inform him that they know where the Scarlet Witch is.

While all this is going on Holly gets in contact with her Professor Doc Samson, who tells her to contact one Jack Holyoak, formerly a student of the Ancient one and who can help Wanda. Jack meets with Wanda and finds out through some magic ritual that there’s a powerful being that wants her for  Chthon and that they were mad about the destruction of the Darque Hold itself. Jack also notes that the DarkHold was but one book of many that has passages from the Mount and that there’s many out there that want it.

While this is going on Wanda and Jack are attacked by demons that want to pull her away from Holly and him. By now they learn that the person wanting to hurt Wanda and take her away is a woman named Lilia Calderu. She is the keeper of the  Book of Cagliostro, which includes passages from the DarkHold and another sorcerer. She’s working with Mordo in order to gain power and she’s known as the Witch queen due to the Serpent crown upon her head. She’s very old, older than Agatha.

Lilia was the one that killed Alice’s mother because she was getting to close to knowing what she and her other partner were up to, and that the partner was the one behind Billy’s death. She also informs Wanda that there’s more in store for her and that what she knew in life was a lie. Jack is wounded protecting Wanda, Holly and Alice and the three women have to get the hell away from Lilia.

Wanda comes to grips with what is actually happening and gains her memories back thanks to working with Alice and refocusing her powers and her mind. Accepting her powers again Wanda becomes the Scarlet Witch and asks Holly and Alice for their help in beating Lilia and destroying her book. A rousing battle happens between the three women. Alice using her magic guns against the werewolves/demons, Holly using the spells she learned from before, and Wanda facing off with Lilia.

Eventually it comes down to the two matching blows and Wanda facing off against a Lilia that has used some spell from her book. She as the option to kill the evil woman, but realizes that, in a lot of ways Lilia is like her. Searching for her lost daughter and using the magic to get what she needs. Angry but also sympathetic, Wanda ends up sealing her for now in a painting of herself. Trapping her until she can realize what she’s done rather than killing her. Wanda takes the book in order to burn the Darkhold pages but is hit from behind by someone else. Only to see a figure dressed in brown walk off with the book in hand and vanish through a portal.

The movie ends where Alice is now training Holly and helping her with Magic. Wanda wants to fix her life and move forward and ready to deal with her actions and pay for her crimes. She’s going to find Wong and see what she can do to fix what she messed up. The trio split up and as Wanda is heading to board a plan a handsome man meets up with her. He asks her if she is Wanda Maxioff, she says yes, and he introduces himself as Jericho Drumm (Brother Voodoo) and he needs her help.

Post Credit stinger is of a woman in candles who sees a glowing yellow stone in a necklace of some sort. She is Margali Szardos (aka Nightcrawler’s adoptive mother) and she realizes that Wanda is the only one that can fix a problem in Transia.

Scarlet Witch TV show (Not sure how many episodes)

After the events of the Movie Wanda is working with Jericho Drumm (Brother Voodoo), Jericho explains to her that someone is going after the remains of those that were in contact with the Darkhold, and trying to recreate it. Part of the issue is the Jericho’s twin brother Daniel , who was a hougan before Jericho, passed on due to actions from an Occultist going by the name of Damballah. Daniel’s spirit had been placed in Jericho, and the two had defeated the Damballah, but when the snap happened Jericho had been taken and Daniel’s spirit had been stolen by someone.

In the first major arc of the story Wanda learns of the Williams Innovations and Wonder man, Simon Williams, who is trying to create a West Coast Avengers team and he wants her to join. His brother Eric comes off as a slime ball and Wanda isn’t interested. Turns out Eric is the Grim Reaper.

At the time Eric is working on a plan to take down Stark Industries for the express intent of pushing his brother up. Williams industry was in financial difficulty after the death of their father, and Simon, being the younger, listened to his older brother who was working for a mob family at the time as their investing partner. In order to keep from being wrecked by debt, and in trouble for embezzlement, Simon agreed to work with Zemo as long as the money was paid to help the company. Simon, at his brother’s urging, underwent a experiment by Zemo, which gave him ion based powers. Simon, always wanting to be an Avenger after the Battle of New York, decided to use his powers to not only help but also promote his family company.

Wanda and Jericho discover that Grim Reaper is using magic to call back the dead in order to attack Williams Industries to give his brother something to fight against. Eventually Simon, who had been helping his brother some what, realizes what they’re doing is wrong and tries to break off from it. Eric, wanting to control the company, attacks Simon and nearly kills him. At the hospital, one of the doctors tries a new treatment on him, using some data they got from Vision during the Westview incident.

When Simon wakes up he’s now dealing with Vison’s memories of Wanda, and is unsure if his feelings for her are of his own or of that of Vison’s. Jericho, Simon, and Wanda defeat the Grim Reaper only to find out that Eric was working with the man that stole the soul of Daniel, Declan Dane.

Dane, aka Dian, aka the Emerald Warlock, was working with the man that stole the Book from Wanda at the end of the movie. Dane has a bone to pick with the world as his mother was seen as a Dark Sorceress and was killed by “Mortals”. He captured and sold off Daniel to a man called the Bloody Baron, for the gift of more power. The man seemed to know a lot about the Darkhold and dark magic, which Dane used. The trio take down Dane, but learn from Simon’s Assistant Rachel Palmer, that the Baron has gone to Transia.

Wanda also gets a call of sorts from Margali, asking to meet her through dreams.

Second season would see Wanda, Jericho, and Simon traveling to Transia. Wanda here has to deal with the fall of Mount Wundagore, and her own past. She meets with Margali who agrees to train her once the Baron is taken care of. As it turns out there’s a curse roaming the land, and many innocent people are being killed by a monster.

(On a side note she makes herself look human)

Margali also informs her that Wanda’s family history wasn’t correct. As it turns out in order to seek out the right answers she’s going to need to find out about her past. Meanwhile Jericho and Simon find out about Jack and Lianna Russel, a pair of twins that can transform into werewolves. Jack has been trying to find a cure for his family curse and, after the usual fight between the three magic users and the two werewolves, the four agree to work together to find out the truth behind the Baron, the Darkhold, and the curse on the Russells.

While this is going on, Wanda meets with a woman named Dasha Koralov, who claims to know the truth about her family. Over the course of the show Wanda meets with Bova, a strange human cow creature who was there with her mother when she and Pietro were born. Wanda discovers that her birth mother is still alive and has a chance to meet her.

Wanda meets Magda Eisenhardt, who is a Romani who was a young girl during WWII. She met with Max Eisenhardt as a young girl, and the two became friends. Max got taken due to his Jewish heritage and placed in a camp, where he later discovered he had mutant powers. When the war ended the two reunited and had a little girl, Anya. Sadly, while living in Ukraine the Russians found out that he was a mutant and wanted to use him. Max refused and they had a group set fire to their house, killing their daughter. Max was unable to live with the situation, and left his wife, not knowing she was with twins, Wanda and Pietro.

After her husband left her, Magda changed her name and gave her children to her sister and brother in law. She, due to already being a magic user, made a name for herself as Natalya Maximoff, claiming to be a cousin of Django -Wanda’s foster father and Uncle. She had gone looking for her children after the attack that killed her sister and brother in law but couldn’t find them. Wanda accepts her mother and is able to learn about her past, that her powers aren’t just from the stone but from her family lines, mutant and magic. She also learns from Magda of Maria Russoff, another powerful witch.

Eventually the stories collide here. Wanda meets with Maria, now a very old woman, and learns that her son is Gregory Russoff, the Bloody Baron. Jericho and Simon learn that the Russell’s are the decedents of the Russoff line and that’s where the curse comes from. The trio and the Russells confront the Baron, and learn that Gregory was trying to recreate the DarkHold and use it with the Resection stone that he was making from the souls of the dead. So Greg’s mom Maria, was one of the top three most powerful witches in the world, but the Darkhold called to him and he learned the magic from it. He’d been using it for years, and it had long since corrupted him. Wanting immortality, he used it but it cursed him and everyone in his family except his mother, into becoming a Werewolf.

So basically the group has to fight a giant Werewolf. Once they beat him, Wanda ends up having to kill him as he’s become way to dangerous. He imbues in her the darkhold knowledge as he goes. While the curse is lifted Jack and his sister still have the whole Werewolf thing going on and decide, screw it, it’s useful and want to work with Simon as West Coast Avengers.

Wanda goes with Jericho to see Margali who gives her the chance to use the stone for her hearts desires, bring back Vision and her kids, and everyone she loves and misses (Natasha, for example) but she rejects it saying she’s moved on with life. Margali is pleased and releases the spirits, letting Danial come back to Jericho. However on their way back home Wanda gets a phone call from Alice. At the station a man has just shown up, he says he’s looking for Wanda, and is named Pietro. She sends her a picture then of her living twin brother.

Ending shows also that Erik Lensherr has found out about Wanda and realizes that that’s his daughter and wants to meet her.
