Ready for a unique and talented take on a wide range of musical traditions? Claude Bourbon is known throughout Europe and America for amazing guitar performances that take blues, Spanish, and Middle Eastern stylings into uncharted territories. Claude’s inimitable style incorporates all five digits on each hand dancing independently but in unison, plucking, picking and strumming at such speed and precision that his fingers often seem to melt into a blur.
Thousands of people in the UK, Europe and USA have enjoyed listening to this virtuoso and for the majority of his audience it is an experience that compels them to return again and again to hear and watch him play, as his fingers lightly dance over the strings of his guitar and create a unique sound that is ’Claude’.
This event is presented by Friends of the Escondido Public Library.

We’ll be discussing “ Rafe: A Buff Male Nanny” by Rebekah Weatherspoon in the Library Board Room and over Zoom.
Author Rebekah Weatherspoon will be joining us to discuss her book and answer questions!

Join the next Hybrid Escondido Writers Group meeting with special guest author, Leslie A. Rasmussen, on Tuesday, May 3 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.!
Leslie A. Rasmussen is the award-winning author of the novel, After Happily Ever After. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA. She went on to write television comedies for Gerald McRaney, Burt Reynolds, Roseanne Barr, Norm McDonald, Drew Carey, as well as The Wild ThornberrysandSweet Valley High.
After leaving the business to raise her boys, she obtained a master’s degree in nutrition and ran her own business for ten years. Recently, she’s written over twenty essays for Huffington Post and Maria Shriver, and spoken on panels discussing empowering women in midlife.
Leslie is a member of The Writers Guild of America, as well as Women In Film and the Women’s Fiction Writers Association.
