theres too many pokemon games where you play as a kid whos full of life and full of potential. there needs to be a pokemon game where you play as a college dropout who lives in a shitty apartment
your starter pokemon are trubbish, rattata and glameow. which symbolise the trash you keep forgetting to take out, the rats living in your walls and the stray cat you keep trying to befriend but it keeps hissing at you.
you guys dont get it its not supposed to be dark and edgy its supposed to be living in a mundane setting and slowly rediscovering the wonder in the world by going on a journey with a magical trash bag that is your friend, its about love and recovery and coping with the stress of your adult life with your friend who is made of sentient garbage
So by now some of y’all might know I just can’t help myself when it comes to Thedosian lore. It’s partially why Bioware owns my soul. This post is going to theorize about the future of the Dragon Age series through the lens of a part of the Chant of Light called the Canticle of Exaltations. No, I’m not exactly pro-Chantry. So why this?
I think Exaltations hints at things to come in DA4 and way beyond, once you remove the Chantrification (that’s totally a real word). Including…
- The removal of the Veil and Mythal’s return
- all hell (Fade) breaking loose
- Balance restored?
As always, I claim no special insight. Take everything here with a grain of salt. Also this post is long. Very long. As in I break down an entire canticle stanza by stanza type long. Continue forth at your discretion. Or, if you want, skip to the end, where there be predictions and a tl;dr.

Superman= Superhero who is coded as an immigrant/alien that is the subject of controvery because he supposedly ‘doesn’t belong’.
Brightburn= What if Superman’s people were evil and despite growing up with a loving family, found out about his origins and relented to his nature?
Homelander= What if Superman was evil, and didn’t grow up with a loving family but rather seen as an experiment and weapon and not as a person or individual?
Omni-man= What if Superman was raised on his home planet and was a colonizer and supremacist, rather than an immigrant?
