Filled with the most visually stunning images. It’s been 2 months, and I still think of this line.
“Wylan presses a quick, affectionate kiss to her hair, and Kaz’s face, just for that one instant, is crumpled with such a violent look of misery and longing that it takes her breath away.”

“The lobby is dazzling, rich brown wood and thick red carpets, warm golden light that reflects and reflects in mirrored walls which multiply the crowd.”
“Other women’s dresses are in pastels, or patterns set on cream. Inej wears black. She sees herself in the many mirrors, black hair and black skirts and glittering red and gold.”
okay so I kind of ignored the red spinels and red carpets bc I had a hard time incorporating them into the palette.

Releasing the art I made during finals as stress relief! AHH so many times I wanted to post this as WIP but I stopped myself till I was finished. I was PATIENT. literally shaking from excitement drawing this.
