Trying to finish one more painting this year before I have a baby in a couple of weeks…!
This one has been in progress for years, and I finally settled on a lighting composition I can proceed with, so here we go!

Drow city from sometime last summer. It’s also a page from my scrapped comic, but thought it worked well enough on its own. I had never drawn this detailed of a cityscape before so considering that, I’m quite happy with it.

Svalverfi, the city where my comic is taking place. Painted it a while ago and hated it, but looking at it now I was like “eeeh good enough, just needs a big decorative circle thing and and we’re done”.

Another page from my still un-named comic project. I really wish I had mroe stuff to show, but I’ve been mostly writing, thumbnailing, sketching for … uh … the entire year pretty much. Feels like I forget how to ink and colour between every page.

Test page from my comic project: the anxious new prince arriving in the icy city on the top of a montain. Trying to find a balance between letting myself indulge in details but also knowing when it’s just getting superfluous.
