I’ve had this idea of doing more then just meme’s on here for a while. April was the first month I actually kept track of what I was doing as far as reading and buying books goes, which surprises me as April has not been a kind month to my family.

So last night I tumblr’d wrong. Someone had asked me about recommendations for teen romances. This is my answer..
I haven’t read too many young adult books lately. Usually if I am looking for a romance, I pick adult romance. When I pick a ya up, I am looking for an adventure, supernatural, which usually has romance but is not the whole of the book. I did look back on past ya books that I loved that had romance and this is what I came up with:

Looks like there’s some interest in a Tamora Pierce colouring book.

I might have to try and make this happen… watch this space! I’ll see what I can do about making more illustrations like this.
Anyone have any suggestions for themes or scenes? I kind of like the idea of the heroines with their animal companions, but of course more ideas would be good too?

I want to write a crossover fic where Penric kin Jurald (and his demon Desdemona) meet Lyra Belacqua Silvertongue (and her dæmon, Pantalaimon) and they meet Trisana Chandler, lately of Winding Circle Temple, who was suspected of harboring a demon; I think this would be great
But after 1 hour all I can imagine are Lyra and Penric getting into a fistfight about the existence of and benevolence of God(s), and Agnostic Tris just starts a betting pool. Observes on behalf of Science.
The story as it stands now can either be read as a full story explaining the reasons behind Kel staying, or as a prologue to a much longer story which would fulfill the promt more literally. We’ll see if I get inspiration to write more.

No one Judge me but I have been re-reading some nostalgia books lately and literally can not help myself from drawing a couple characters. Starting with Numair AKA Aram Drapper (or at least how I envision him)
