Been playing a lot of Terraria with @dogfruit lately! I drew my character to celebrate us reaching hardmode - playing as a mage for the first time and having a lot of fun!
Mimics are tricky monsters that impersonate inanimate objects to trick their prey (you).
The classic mimic has the appearance of a treasure chest, and is often encountered in a dungeon– a suitably ironic trap as adventurers are literally consumed by the object of their avarice.
He looks like a giant demonic gnoll (hyena/dog people), and has a three-headed flail. He’s one of the pretty straightforward demon lords, interested in destruction and conquest.
Known as the Faceless Lord, they rule over their own slimy corner of the Abyss. The Dungeons and Dragons multiverse is full of slimes, oozes, jellies, and gelatinous cubes, and Juiblex is the epitome and demonic prince of them all.

They come from a nightmare dimension called the Far Realm, like a number of the more alien monsters in D&D. Their body looks like a brain, but it’s just a weird coincidence? They fly around and eat people.
They are often portrayed as uncivilized, without any culture of their own. I’m a fan of the Pathfinder take on them, which surmises that they ruled over a massive empire in the distant past, but have since lost their connection to this exalted history.
