Proto Cú and Heroic Spirit EMIYA Friendship HCs

• These two get along better than anyone would initially think
• Proto sometimes helps Emiya in the kitchen whenever the Red Archer is cooking
• Emiya in turn lets Proto vent to him
• Usually, Proto wouldn’t voice his insecurities to anyone, but he just…really looks up to Emiya, okay?
• Emiya finds that Proto Cú is the first of the Cús to actually wantto get to know him. Proto’s laidback nature helps Emiya relax when he feels as if he’s carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, and he silently appreciates the understanding Lancer
• Proto likes to surprise Emiya whenever he can (it never works). One time, he ran at superhuman speeds (even for the Lancer Class) just to tackle the archer into a hug, and Emiya caught him with slight amusement shining in his eyes. (Proto Cú vows to catch him off-guard someday)
• Emiya usually bakes sweets for the younger Servants as well as Proto Cú. The younger Cú Chulainn has a wicked sweet tooth, just like his Alter counterpart, so Emiya usually makes homemade chocolate chip cookies for him to munch on
• Homemade chocolate chip cookies become Proto Cú’s favorite dessert
• Whatever Proto Cú hunts and kills, he cooks with Emiya. Thus, Emiya gets very creative with the ways boar can be served to the residents of Chaldea
• No bickering is to be heard between the two of them. They don’t fight; at most, they argue about who does what when preparing the food (Emiya usually wins 95% of the time)
• Emiya manages to learn a bit more about the Blue Lancer. At least, he now understands why the older Lancer counterpart dislikes him; the archer reminds him of his mistakes, and stands for the very things he now denied.
• Proto Cú reassures him that his older self does not hate him at all while snickering, and Emiya never fails to become confused
• These two? Surprisingly one of the best matchups teamwork-wise. Since they hang out sometimes when on standby - not to mention Emiya’s extensive knowledge of Cú’s fighting style - they very nearly work in sync. Proto Cú rushes into battle; Emiya covers his blind spots and pushes forward whenever Proto needs to fall back and re-assess the situation
• Emiya helps Proto build bridges with his older counterparts. Apparently, all of the Hounds have trouble expressing their innermost feelings, and facing yourself is a daunting task if done alone. He knows; he speaks from experience
• When not fighting together or cooking, these two like to play card games together. Proto Cú is a fan of Blackjack, and while Emiya has only ever learned Solitaire, he enjoys a good couple rounds of Uno here and there
• They train together. Emiya helps Proto Cú work on his strategies while Proto Cú helps Emiya loosen up a bit more during battles, lest his muscles tear from the slightest bit of force
• Movie nights happen every Saturday, and they alternate between picking movies for each other to watch. Proto surprisingly recommends some good rom coms while Emiya is able to pick out some of the best horror movies known to man
• The original Grudge movie proceeded to secretly scare the shit out of Proto, who Emiya caught going to sleep with the light on for the following four nights
• Emiya may or may not have teared up during a certain rom com (Proto doesn’t let him live it down)
