so yeah, I noticed how the first years resemble night sky stuff, Hinata is the sun, Yachi is the stars, Yamaguchi is the constellations (or more stars! for his freckles), Tsukki is the fireflies, and Kags is the moon (or Tsukki, but I remember Tobio playing as the moon in elementary school)
unfortunately i don’t have any interesting additional images to share here, but i’ll try to keep these bullet points legible :’)
i started this project on a whim last year while i was very deeply invested in aqours. i committed to finishing all of these portraits in a particular order for the sake of my instagram page, actually! it’s led to some pain, especially since i’ve been drifting away from aqours, but it’s kinda fulfilling to see them all together :’)))
their designs have all stayed mostly the same since i originally sketched them out on paper
the big change is with maru! she was originally going to have a full buzzcut per a story i had sorta plotted out around all this, but i thought it might be more fun to give her a generic anime boy cut ahah. the deciding factor was a little poll i put on twitter!
ruby’s was definitely the most difficult for me…i don’t draw her very much to begin with, and her cuts are both a little ridiculous to wrangle with :’)

i tried to do these all in basically the same style, but with how infrequently i’ve been working through them, i think it’s pretty clear how my skills have progressed with each one. and that’s kinda neat methinks

Kei cant remember a time he had ever seen Hinata this mad. Well maybe mad wasn’t the right word, but Hinata was glaring at Kageyama and he was sure the setter wasn’t leaving his house alive.
Why did Yachi think it would be a good idea for the five of them to meet in a closed in space such as his house. The sight of Hinata covered in water and glitter only proving it.
“Tobio, you really didn’t think how this prank would backfire, did you?” Kageyama’s only response was a questioning tilt of his head (Kei would never admit how cute it was no matter how many knowing looks Yamaguchi sends him).
“Hey Tobio, give me hug,” he watched as realisation dawned on Kageyama’s face the moment Hinata raised his arms in a motion that was never supposed to be as frightening as it was.
Both Yachi and Yamaguchi moved to stand behind him seconds before Hinata tackled Kageyama. They both fell to the floor laughing, Hinata’s much louder than Kageyama’s.
“And here you can see two idiots being their usual idiotic selves.”
“Oh please, you know you love us.”
“Hmm, that’s debatable.” By now Hinata and Kageyama had stopped to look at him, and Kei really did not like the look they gave each other. (He missed the nods Yachi and Yamaguchi gave from behind his back and how they moved just a little closer.)
“Why are you smiling, I hope you not planning on touching me while you covered in that evil substance,” Kei took one step back as both of his boyfriends in front of him stepped forward. By that point he couldn’t react quick enough to avoid Yachi’s and Yamaguchi’s grip on his arms.
“I hope the two of you know your filthy traitors,” it was the only thing he could get out before the five of them were on the floor in a glitter covered cuddle pile. (If the rest of the team wondered why two weeks later pieces of glitter were still falling out of their five first years hair, they never got a straight answer.)
A few about the Great Seven interacting with Twisted Wonderland characters VIA Yuu. I only have one word summary; Chaos.
Who would meet the Great Seven first? Obviously the first years (along with Ortho and Grim). They’re Yuu’s best friends after all.
Actually, it was Friday, the last day of the week. And coincidentally, that night would be a special night at the House of Mouse. Ariel and her sisters would be performing that night.
Mickey told Yuu that that they could invite anyone to watch the performance. So Yuu went to get special permission to take their friends along with them.
After kidnapping Ortho After Yuu gathers everyone, they explain that they’re going out to see a special performance at their workplace.
Keep in mind that no one knows exactly what Yuu’s new job was except Grim and Crowley. So naturally everyone was in on it and curious. (Only Grim knows about Yuu meeting the Great Seven though)
Ace: So where do you work at?
Yuu: I work at a club.
Epel: …As in a strip club or a book club?
Yuu: Wtf Epel? It’s like a club but no alcohol. It’s technically a restaurant but they have live shows and put on a lot of performances so-
Deuce: Oh! That’s cool, we get to see it together!
Yuu: Actually I’m not going to be with you guys. I’m on duty that day so I’ll be waiting tables. But I’ll join during break.
Ace: Really? Bummer.
Ortho: Aw, I wanted to hang out with you too! But it will be fun nonetheless. :D
