Now on iBooks.

Saint Silvan is a miracle. Since he died two-thousand years ago, not one atom of his beautiful body has succumbed to the natural decay of the flesh. But the planet is not so fortunate. In a small church in Dubrovnik, Silvan lies in state for the veneration of the faithful while nation after nation succumbs to the rising tides of climate change. When an immortal dandy calling himself Az offers Silvan a job boosting humanity’s morale by prettifying the revered dead, Silvan is eager to offer his talents, unaware that someone may be playing him for a holy fool. From Imperial Rome to Soviet Russia, Silvan crosses the worlds of the living and the dead to uncover his past and divine his future in a dying world.

This is a story of magic and makeup, crypts and clownfish.

Dear Tumblr world,
Please reblog the following post about the disaster, Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia are facing right now and through that raise awareness! These countries need every help they can get!
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia are experiencing the worst floods in the last 120 years. Houses and bridges have been swept away. Many have died and a full-scale evacuation of thousands of people has been carried out. Improvised dams and embankments have been built in order to save people’s lives and infrastructure. Because of the horrifyingly high levels of water, landslides have appeared and destroyed everything in their way – houses, roads, bridges. Countless people have been evacuated and are now accommodated in sports halls, warehouses, etc. After the flood waters recede, people will have no home to go back to and the affected areas will face a serious health risk. Thousands of people are helping in mitigating the effects of this disaster.
I hereby ask you for your help: you can donate financially to the Ministries of Finance or the Red Cross in Serbia and BiH (http://helpfloodedserbia.org/donate/) and also reblog and share this information with others.

Show your humanity, show your support for the people who lost everything. At the end of the day, we are all the same, without gender, class or race. Human beings. Walking talking minerals.

Thank you,
Jovana Vukosavljevic

“You know, they straightened out the Mississippi river in places, to make room for houses and livable acreage. Occasionally the river floods these places. “Floods” is the word they use, but in fact it is not flooding: it is remembering. Remembering where it used to be. All water has a perfect memory and is forever trying to get back to where it was.”

The Land Ministry opens this underground cistern in Kasukabe, Saitama prefecture, a suburb of Tokyo, Japan, to the public once a year where several thousand people visit the so-called “the underground temple”. The 14,000-square-meters and 18-meters-high structure is used to hold water from rivers around the facilities temporarily to avoid floods in case of heavy rain.
