Food of the day: Banquet Burger
A classic for burgers from fran’s. One of my favourite things about burgers is the toppings you can add to it, and nothing is more classic than the banquet burger with its cheddar cheese and crispy bacon. But as you see in this photo, the burger was actually really dry, and as much as cheese and bacon works really well with burgers, a bite into this burger feels almost tasteless as each ingredient for some reason does not go with each other. A major disappointment for me that day. It was however a really busy day so maybe that’s why.

Food of the day: Food truck Tacos
Fish taco and shrimp taco, got these babies during the food truck festival, for 5 dollars each, I must say they are a tad hefty considering it wasn’t crazy amazing, but definitely a change from the usual taco bell. The ingredients were there but the whole taco just didn’t come together to make this an amazing taco, o wells, can’t be always good food I guess?

Food of the day: Pork Bone Base Ramen
Got this at Rajin Ramen, I would say one of the more outstanding ramen places in toronto. The soup base is extremely rich, so for those that prefer a lighter flavor, this is not somewhere you would go. But for people like me who enjoy a savoury dish, or in this case bowl, I would strongly recommend this place! One downside would be the meat is not cooked as nicely as some other places, but all in all a great place

Food of the day: French Onion Soup
Got this lovely soup at Fran’s, the soup base was great and so were the croutons, the cheese selection was not to my tasting, and it would’ve been better if the cheese were slightly more baked. All in all its good since I was craving it, but its nothing amazing.
