A little something I made, inspired by my new Mock Orange. I do a lot of gardening these days and I’ve noticed that my old Mock Orange (Belle Etoile) looked kinda sad and lonely. So I bought another one and am now waiting for them to bloom. I love the way they look and smell :) so I felt like doodling some sheith and flowers.
A little something I worked on in between zine-pieces. I’m kind of on hiatus at the moment because I’m doing a multiple pages long comic for a zine, two more pieces for different zines AND my so and me are working on our house, doing renovations, going furniture shopping and stuff, all while working full time … And it’s super stressful at the moment. Please don’t be mad at me for not uploading anything in a while. ❤️

This takes place a few thousand years after Shiro and Keith aka. Lucifer went to stay in hell. There were quite a few angels who didn’t like how things turned out for the two of them. They believed it to be unfair how two fallen angels got to have their own realm as a “punishment”. So there were fights wherever Keith and Shiro went, right from the start.
One of these fights escalated and Shiro got hurt pretty bad. Celestial beings are said to be immortal, but apparently that doesn’t apply to the fallen ones. And so Shiro died, leaving behind his devastated lover. The one he had fallen for so many centuries ago. The one he had fallen from heaven for. (to be continued)
This takes places after their fall. Looking for a plane to stay, they finally find this one. Hell. It’s not as nice and cozy as they’re used to, but it’ll do…. For now.
I like that the progression of being Din Djarin’s friend goes like this
1. You try to kill him
2. He tries to kill you, and really, you can’t be all that upset because you did start it
3. Suddenly there’s a baby in your face. You’re not sure where it came from, but it’s very cute.
4. Din looks just as perplexed as you about the baby, and then he’s stuffing it back in a bag and telling him to stay put
5. He asks you to babysit the baby
6. And then it’s all over. Suddenly you’re an aunt/uncle to a little green baby and looking after Din too because honestly how has this man made it this far he should have died at least seven times in the three hours you’ve known him
Okay I still got a major brainrot for Worlds Apart fic by @stupidfatpenguin and just had to let go and accept that my doodles were today, well, just doodles but the idea of multiple Lukes is so. funny. to me. Sometimes you gotta enjoy whatever blorbos do I guess! This is how I imagine their interaction if it actually happened damn he really got it going on
Din is lucky he’s wearing a helmet nearly all the time, because can you IMAGINE the teasing he’d get from Cara/Paz/Boba/Cobb/etc if they could see him making heart eyes at Luke none stop!
(Luke does not have that luxury, so he just gets mercilessly teased, poor guy)
this has probably been said elsewhere and better but i miss the days in star wars when the oppressive empire was made up of white men with british accents. that wasn’t an accident and it wasn’t a trivial decision, like they are the face and voice of power and oppression both in the past and today. giving these roles to women and people of color feels like… idk obfuscating or something? like don’t get me wrong i very much want more diversity in star wars, but the empire being a monolithic sea of white men with imperial accents, and the good guys being a diverse crowd of allies from all demographics, it implicitly communicated something important.

yeah i made this post after watching the kenobi trailer and seeing reva, but i was also thinking about moff gideon in the mandalorian, trilla in the jfo game, and the character design choices of the bad batch tv show. i was thinking about how there’s a pattern in making the empire and the villains more diverse, but the heroes are somehow still white, and how the implications of that are bad.
i’ve gotten plenty of anons about this post and i just want to clarify a little bit. 1977 star wars combined the dress and ranks of nazi germany, the weapons and aesthetics of the american military industrial complex, and the accent of what americans consider to be the most privileged, powerful, and patronizing people they know, the ruling class of britain. that’s the formula for an evil space empire: a white supremacist, exploitative, genocidal oppressor that had to be destroyed by a diverse coalition of allies. i personally think that the selfish, dangerous bad actors in our society today happen to be the same rich and powerful white men as were the problem when star wars was first created, and so i think maybe we shouldn’t be in such a hurry to replace the face of that fictional fascist empire in our cultural mythology with token diversity and make it so that, for example in the kenobi trailer, a black women gets to oppress the white posh male lead. i don’t really care at this point if there’s an interesting narrative reason that she was coerced into becoming the oppressor, that’s a story that really deserves for her to be the main character, with her actress in the leading role. unfortunately that seems like it might be unlikely to happen, as we saw what happened to john boyega, how finn didn’t end up the main hero in the sequels and instead, they asked us to identify with rey, a white woman with an upper class british accent, and encouraged us to sympathize with and forgive the fascist kylo ren. this is all very frustrating and concerning to me. i think we need to keep in mind that it’s very possible to personally enjoy these awesome nonwhite, female, and/or queer coded villains, as i am sure that reva will be badass, but also use critical thinking about the reasons why they are there.
with new pictures of Hayden Christensen floating around I keep seeing people saying ‘imagine if Anakin didn’t turn bad, the biggest problem for Luke and Leia would be that their dad is a dilf and all their friends swoon over him when he comes to pick them up from school’
and yes of course that’s valid because Anakin would absolutely be casually leaning against his modified speeder with sunglasses on dressed in black like a model but please imagine the twins getting horrified by their friends drooling over him and going “dad you’re not allowed to show your face at school now, mom will come pick us up” but HAVE YOU SEEN RECENT PICTURES OF NATALIE PORTMAN?
the twins have zero ideas how hot their parents are, they’re just their lame parents, they don’t realise that their mom has the face of Natalie Portman and the second their friends see her they’re like “your father is a dilf and your mother is a former queen and the nicest AND hottest milf in the galaxy?? you guys are solucky”
Leia is traumatised and almost shaking, saying, “this is the worst. I can’t believe our parents are….” She makes a horrible gagging sound. “…Hot.”
“I know, I can’t believe it either,” Luke groans.
“Next time we’ll ask Obi-Wan to come pick us up.”
“Oh good idea! It’s not like anyone would find old uncle Ben hot!”
i am so pleasantly surprised how the kenobi series is acknowledging how traumatizing it was for obi wan to lose padme. i mean he was friends with her for just as long as anakin and literally saw her give birth and then die in front of him. fans when talking about post prequels obi wan depression era have historically focused on the drama of him losing anakin so i am just happy that this piece of canon is giving padme and her death’s impact on obi wan the narrative importance it deserves
