7E Guest Artist - Justin Windle
Justin is of a new generation of artists who may not even consider themselves artists in the pure sense. He spends his days coding for google. All artwork is coded and generative meaning that it is constantly changing and is different at any point in time that you may be viewing it. The pictures above are merely screen captures of some of his artwork. To view as intended, they must be viewed in a WebGL enabled browser such as chrome.

Justin creates his art using tools such as WebGL, Javascript and Actionscript. He even releases the code open source on github. How cool is that.

Art project from Shirin AnlenandZiv Schneider combines Machine Learning tech and Religion, generating visual compositions using a Text to Image framework using quotes from the Bible. The project used COCO dataset (with code by Eyal Gruss).

Generative music app for iOS by point in passing can create unique ambient synth music relative to the time of day and other factors, and claims no two songs will be the same:
An alternative to structured meditation platforms, Non uses sound to develop the practice of active listening and invite deepened states of consciousness.
Non’s algorithm produces each sound note by note, making no two sessions ever alike. The generative soundscapes and in-app visuals, adapt to the time of day, respond to the user’s energy, and shift with their physical movement. This lack of familiarity allows for an experience unclouded by expectation.
Challenging the conventions of user interaction, Non employs a unique and seamless set of gestures to produce something more tonally suited for meditation and alleviate the paradox of choice.

Zero One
Motion Graphics project by @ravenkwok is a music video whose graphics have been created with audio syncing and coded using the Processing language:
Zero One is a code-based generative video commissioned by Zero One Technology Festival 2018 (zeroone-tech.com/) in Shenzhen, PR China. In this project, I collaborate with L.A. based producer / music technologist Mike Gao (soundcloud.com/mikegao).
This project consists of multiple interlinked generative systems, each of which has its customized features, but collectively share the core concept of an evolving elementary cellular automaton.
The entire video is programmed and generated using Processing with minor edits in Premiere during composition.
