So for the origin of my URL, my first URL was my IRL name then I changed it to musingsofanextrovert which basically means that even an extrovert can find freedom in expressing emotions through writing.
When I was going through a grieving period, I’d asked @mrskenmakozume to help me choose a new URL which involved my selfships with either Jotaro Kujo, Tetsurō Kuroo or Kento Nanami (Jotarna, Tetsuna and Kentona respectively) or a combo of any of the two.So, I’d posed a couple of options including tetsukentona, tetsujotarna, jotakentona, jotatetsuna, etc, (iirc) and we both agreed that tetsukentona (basically a portmanteau of tetsuna and kentona giving a poly ship vibe) looked nice! So that’s the origin ♥️
Currently thinking of changing the name to shynakujokuroo /kujokurookento or anything like that (idk if it looks okay )

Okay, so when i first came here my URL was Pamakali, of which all the syllables are the first 2 letters of every name/‘title’ in my fam. My online name became: Kali. Which i still use now. I was very active in the Mystic Messenger fandom.
Shit happened there and i left because of it. I came back with the same URL but it felt off so after a while i left again for feeling our of place (made me very sad).
For a few months i stayed away from Tumblr. But it started itching again. By that time i was pregnant with kid no. 3 so my former URL didn’t work anymore and i wanted to start anew anyway so i wanted new one.
My friend had started calling me Kawi, as a cute nickname which i loved, so i wanted to use that and because i planned to start fresh in the Mystic Messenger fandom again i made it Mystikawi!
Even though i left the fandom, i will still keep the name! I’m quite attached to it!

Sort of a similar situation here, I originally was in the Hobbit and DreamWorks fandoms back when I was a teenager and had a horrible horrible experience. So I left the fanfic world for a bit until I was invited to join the Sesskag server by Purity and @chierafied.
Writing under my previous penname felt wrong. And so I did a test to see if writing under the name “jafndaegur"—an Icelandic word for "equinox” (which is the name of my dearest oc)—the name stuck from there. I’ve made a name for myself as Jaf and I plan to use the pseudonym even in my professional writing. It makes me happy^^
Anyone who’d like to explain their name can join the origin of ourselves is always interesting.
I was tagged by the lovely @glitch-girl318 to take part in a get to know me challenge. It involves posting a selfie and giving a few facts about yourself then you have to tag a few blogs that you want to get to know better. I’m not too big on posting selfies because I’m really self-conscious but here we go…
1. I’m 5’ 8.5” (And yes the half inch is very important when you grew up as the shortest person in your group of friends.)
2. I love animals!!! I have 5 pets which is a lot I know!! I have 3 cats and 2 dogs: Oliver, Jasmine, Pumpkin, Belle, & Commander.
3. Obviously I adore video games but I’m also an avid Dungeons & Dragons player. I play at least twice a week with a bunch of my friends. You can actually follow one of the campaigns I play in on Twitch.
4. I love music and I love to sing. Whether or not I’m any good at singing depends on who is listening I guess.
5. I love to read and write. I’m actually in the middle of writing my own novels; which some of you may or may not know already. I’m hopeful that I can get my work published one day.
Bonus: I’m going to Poland and England at the end of the summer to see my aunt and grandmother! I’m very excited about that as I haven’t seen them in quite a while.

Everyone starts out as a silhouette to me. Just a shape, the bare outlines of a human being. Everyone, when I first see them, has nothing but edges, the outer limits that give barely anything away. Perhaps the odd clue here and there, but nothing concrete, nothing revelatory. Just hints and suggestions, a black space that makes a shape.
But as I get to know you, the light shifts. It starts to circle around, revealing more and more of you as it turns. The way you eat your cereal in the morning, how you dress, your laugh. Each little piece another slotted into the puzzle, giving a clearer picture, another suggestion that’s a little bit more than I had before, but still doesn’t quite throw everything into clear focus.
I like this metaphor. I like how it works, the images it throws up. I like that, when you have that light circling a face, or a body, you get hints of the cheek bones, or the muscles of the neck cast into sharp relief. I like that these are things you don’t really see in full light, and I like the thought that when you’re getting to know someone, you see things people who’ve known them for years haven’t noticed.
Obsession can be a beautiful thing. It can reveal, and uncover, things that are taken for granted. It can see the beauty in the mundane, and it can elevate the normal into the extraordinary. We’re all silhouettes to someone, it’s about finding the person that can frame you in your best light. The one that makes you look as beautiful as you are, but doesn’t need to shine a light in your face.
Because no one looks sexy when they squint.
