Gregory isn’t an artist he’s a lawyer but he painted sunflowers onto the walls of Miles’s room/his crib very, very carefully.

Gregory will honestly never be able to thank Gumshoe enough for looking after Miles and not giving up on him even though he’s not rewarded properly for his actions. I’ve seen people talk and talked myself about how much Gregory adores Phoenix and is so thankful he saved Miles. But Gregory also really, really, REALLY appreciates the long-term effort Gumshoe put into Miles’s care and emotional wellbeing and it’s Important guys. Gregory Edgeworth can accept his situation better because Gumshoe exists.

Concept: An au where ghosts can influence the ace attorney world. Phoenix is seemingly incredibly lucky in near-death situations because Gregory might not be able to emotionally protect Miles but he can physically protect the people who help his son. 

Miles accidentally reading a darker murder mystery book while he’s much too young for it and it gives him really bad nightmares and he sleeps in Gregory’s room for a week at least.

Gregory seriously, actively considers making a bonfire out of his extensive mystery book collection but he starts storing them at the office instead and they creep Raymond out.

Miles draws designs for pumpkins and Gregory carves them because he’s too scared to let Miles anywhere near such a sharp object.

Gregory really hopes you manage to eat something today. Even if it’s just something small, he’s not here to hover-parent and fuss over you eating enough food so he’s trusting you to keep up your strength.

Gregory buys enough tinsel that Miles can genuinely hide under it when it’s all piled up.

Gregory takes a break from tea sometimes because Miles really likes hot chocolate and they buy lots of marshmallows and spray-cream and make hot chocolate monstrosities. 

Gregory definitely had to teach small Miles to tie a bow-tie and a regular tie and he definitely Did Not Cry A Little bc he thought he’d be doing this when Miles was way older and all grown up so he was anticipating it in his head as a “My son is all grown up” moment but now he’s going through those emotions with a 6 year old and tbh Miles is concerned.

Gregory took Miles ice-skating once and it was basically him shuffling along the edge holding it with one hand and Miles’s hand with the other while muttering “objection” over and over.
