I recently did a series of travel posters centered around the motherland, Vietnam. I have them up for sale too for anyone who interested in grabbing a print: https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/thetiffopotamus/
Pictures from kayaking at Lan Ha Bay near Cat Ba Island, Vietnam. I went with local outfitter Blue Swimmer, it was $15 for the guide and $15 for the kayak rental for 4.5 hrs. I had the best time!
Pictures were taken by my travel buddy Adam Niblett, though he ended up staying in Vietnam and I’m in Manila Airport on my way to Palawan.
Just returned from 2 day/1 night cruise at Halong Bay. I went with Dugong Sail cruise ship and I had it booked through one of many Hanoi’s Sihn Cafes. It cost me $68 and included transportation to and from the bay, bed in 2 person cabin, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, and 1 breakfast, and cave and kayaking activities. Not a bad deal!
I enjoyed sleeping on the boat in the cabin, never done this before. The cave was pretty cool, very big, but also very crowded with tourists. Didn’t like kayaking at all because of heavy boat traffic and the resulting pollution. The meals on the cruise boat were big and delicious!
I went with an Australian and British friends, one had to go back to Hanoi, the other stayed with me to explore Cat Ba Island. Pretty nice here, almost sunny! Can’t wait to explore the surroundings!
