these are amazing. i actually made these all by myself. with my mom telling me exactly what to do, but its seriously so easy and so yummy. also my mom got really into my pictures, so the reason it looks nicer than usual is because she got to have a say in it.

Took 4 hr bus ride to Hue from Hoi An today. Very beautiful scenery along the way, rolling green hills, windy road along the coast, miles of sandy beaches, peek-a-boos of pagodas and ancient cemeteries along the road. Wonderful real Vietnam!
To celebrate the arrival to Hue I went out to dinner with 3 others who also stayed at the same hostel with me in Hoi An. It was like United Nations: French, British, Australian, and Russian-American. We had such a feast at one of the local little restaurants along the river. The best was definitely the fish, you eat it wrapped in a sheet of rice paper with lettuce and dipped into chily-cumquat sauce. Yum!
