I’ve Noticed Something (Spoilers For Different Anime)…
I usually am really interested in sibling or family dynamics (including found family). My usual favorite type of siblings are twins.
Examples include (but not limited to):
Yuui and Fai (TRC)
Amane/Hanako and Tsukasa (JSHK/TBHK)
Yoh & Hao (SK)
I always like to see people fix their damaged relationships or just some nice family fluff. Just something that lets them be happy and letting them finally get to relax like normal kids.
I guess Diluc and Kaeya can be added to the list now after a year of going crazy and wanting them to just make up already.
Nene is desperate to find out about Amane, but he refuses to speak. After all, he understands that it is important to her, so she breaks down her own toil. When he starts talking about Tsukas and there is a moment when he wants to say “but I killed him” it is hard for him and extremely difficult to say. I understand this as even as a murderer it is a painful memory for him. He regrets it and the real scene you see is how painful it is for him, because he killed also the reason must be difficult for him. It takes a lot of him to make an effort to say it
Amane is not a ruthless killer. He regrets it, and talking about it is also painful for him.
Amane has his back to Nene and shows no expression as he says these words. I believe that his face was also emotional, which he wanted to hide from Nene at all costs / He just couldn’t look her in the eye. For me, he wanted to hide emotions from her. He did not want to show them because he puts on the mask more than once and pretends that everything is fine when it is not.
I think when he calmed down a little, he decided to look at Nene. He was still sad, but not as emotional as he was with Tsukas when he was reminded of his death to Amane. Amane showed Nene’s sad face, but I still think he was trying to appear stronger, though his expression, eyes, and voice said something else.
I really hope that he will stop wearing the mask and show that real pain and despair that he hides inside himself and refuses to show at all costs.
