Ahgh I’ve managed to do a few more!! These are for Fantasy Basel this year, and will be put up online here in late May/early June!! I hope you like them!
The monsters below were originally supposed to be in the same image as Shuichi, but the combination looked weird so I separated them since I still liked the designs.
This isn’t vent art, I just wanted to draw Dr characters as monsters and needed motivation for why the characters would look like that. So I decided on survivors guilt warping the image of Shuichi’s dead friends in his mind, turning them into monsters!
I’ll probably do at least a few more, I’m going for a swap where at least ½ is in the body of the person they’d *least* want to be (I think this would replace the third motive)
Kokichi and Maki are rather obvious
Shuichi and himiko, well himiko does not like doing things and Shuichi is the protag so everyone goes to him for everything (which continues after the swap and himiko has to keep reminding people she’s not him)
And well shuichi doesn’t really want anyone in his body or to be stuck in a person that’s fem presenting (dysphoria tm) but honestly overall it’s definitely more to upset himiko than him

Kokichi is very comfortable in his gender and expression of it, his feelings are more “this body has killed people, I have blood on my hands” discomfort than issues having a “female” body for awhile
Maki,,, isn’t attached to gender, she’s had to go undercover as men before and honestly wasn’t raised with gender mattering, she was a tool first. She definitely is a woman, she likes having that little bit of say in her life, but as long as people still use the correct pronouns and recognize her as female it doesn’t actually matter what body she’s in (the fact that it’s kokichi is highly upsetting though)
Himiko, has dysmorphia more than dysphoria, because y’know biology hasn’t changed. But she still can’t recognize herself in his body, it’s all off, long limbs that she’s constantly tripping over hair that scratches her neck in the wrong way, a face that moves just differently than she’s used to. It’s why she’s trying to make herself as close to how she looks in her body as possible, starting with as shown in the art getting a hat back on her head!

Redraw of my saiouma child, his name is Kaito saihara (kai for short)
Kokichi is the one that named him, it was to mess with Kaito. To make him confused if he should be insulted (because it’s from kokichi) or complimented (since they named their kid after him)
Much to kokichi’s dismay, kaito just breaks out into tears and gives him a hug, saying things like “he’s such a good friend” and “what a manly way to show you’ve grown past our old grudges” and that he needs to make it up to him somehow
I’ve been watching a Death mark/NG playthrough and sketched Shuichi and Kokichi as spirits from the game
Yes Shuichi only has his pointer finger and thumb on each hand, and yes I’m aware there’s already a spider themes spirit- I just thought it fit
Kokichi has mouths for eyes, and the weird horns/spikes sticking out of him are,,, well y’know how pinocchio’s nose grows when he lies? Same concept, different locations, also more painful! Also he’s not blushing, he’s choking himself

- Vr au that Kokichi manages to escape from, and now he has to figure out how to save his classmates when they’re still stuck in the simulation. Also why is the entire facility abandoned and what’s this weird Ch1ak1 AI?
- Post game au, where it was real and everyone’s dead, but through some shenanigans Kokichi and kaito both also survived. Although Shuichi did have to suffer through an execution that he barely survived so they could live!
Other au’s:
- superpower au, but they’re stuck in a lab and there’s lots of angst. Powers are actually not all that great to have either
- On a similar note: Bnha au, I have two of them. One where it’s just V3 has quirks (or don’t) and go to UA
-and one where actually they live on a totally separated island where propaganda has fed them “quirks bad” and everyone who has a quirk lives on suppressants. So instead they developed the “ultimate” system so people could still feel special. UA and HPA each year send exchange a few students between them, the island does this to keep up appearances for ~reasons~
