My new Hayley + Elijah video requested by an awesome Haylijah fan on twitter! ❤️

…and it was the Haylijah scenes. Yes, I’m a Haylijah shipper and I know that all the shippers of them are complaining about this but why I am fussing is not so much that they didn’t have any good moments but that this episode was the perfect one to have at least one of those good moments. I actually thought when Klaus left Hayley in the room with Elijah, that we were going to see a scene where she sat with him and maybe tried to reach him. Instead we have Hayley who seems to care more about ripping Esther’s head off then sitting with Elijah and just be there for him. Then don’t get me started on the last part. I mean I didn’t expect Hayley to leap into Elijah’s arms or anything, but Hayley had such a “whatever attitude” about Elijah being ok. “Glad to see you’re vertical.” Really Hayley? That’s all you got to say to the man who has been there for you since day one; when even the father of your child could of cared less. The man who vowed to always protect you, the one who went and searched for you every single time you went missing and was in danger and who came and checked on you when you almost died and let you know that in a thousand years he had never been so afraid. Daniel and Phoebe have unbelievable chemistry(Hello Elijah’s dream!) and I would of even been happy with just some eye connection, just a bit of relief on Hayley’s part that Elijah was ok. Yes, Elijah looked at Hayley with that look like he is madly in love with her, as he always does. Hayley on the other hand only seemed concerned that they go see what they brought back. Well, Finn & Kol were chained up pretty good so taking 2 seconds to actually show some concern probably wouldn’t of made much of a difference. I really don’t want to dislike Hayley. People have said they hated her since TVD; I didn’t. I loved Hayley season one because she was badass and sassy but she was also caring and she seemed appreciative and loyal to people. I knew she was going to be shut off and upset from giving Hope up and I understood the first couple of episodes, but now she is starting to irritate me because she is no longer shutting people out; she is shutting Elijah out and then turning around and accusing him of ignoring her when he was giving her the space that she needed because she made it very clear she was in a bitchy mood and better to just leave her alone. I get that she’s embracing being a hybrid and that’s fantastic. She wants to fight to bring her baby back and I love that but when Hope returns does she want to raise her daughter to turn her back on the people who have been there for them through the worst of it all? I don’t think nor do I want The Originals to be centered around a couple/ship; this episode was rather good besides the Haylijah stuff. I’m just tired of the attitude Hayley is having towards Elijah and feeling like that the Hayliah connection was all about the baby or was just a leave floating on a breeze. It was much, much deeper then that and it was strong & real! <333
