Ok, but seriously, this pigeon portrait was originally intended to be a Christmas card (hence the olive branch: “Peace on earth… from New York”). But I didn’t get my act together in time. Maybe next year!

In the meantime, I put some fresh paint on a thrift store frame for him, and it really seems to bring out his eye.

In the wake of the devastating horror in Orlando yesterday, it was an honor to witness the radiating love of these two on a Brooklyn-bound 3 train.
