Magik of the X-Men. Found this old design from last year in a sketchbook. Tiny thing – maybe the size of a business card – and decided to flesh it out. It killed two Sharpies. We honor their sacrifice.
As I draw more mash-ups of Wonder Woman, Captain America, and Agent Carter, I wanted to finally devote to paper my notion of Diana meeting a ghost from her past, The Wonder Soldier. The shoulder star is made of radiating Ws. I like that a lot.
In 2019, DC solicited a lucha libre Wonder Woman, which I had to have, and then they cancelled it. I still carry a torch for it. I made art for it. Here’s the process blog:
