When the whumpee has a lot of scars that they don’t want their team seeing, but they end up getting hurt again, and they know they can’t deal with it on their own, but asking for help will mean letting someone see the scars. The whumpee deciding to try to deal with it on their own anyway, but having to give up within minutes of starting to patch themself up. Them having to force themself to go to the rest of their team for help, and their teammates making no comments about the scars as they patch the whumpee up. The whumpee falling asleep after their teammates are done, and when they wake up, them asking the rest of their team why none of them commented. Their teammates telling them that they weren’t going to ask them questions about something they clearly were uncomfortable with, but if they ever wanted to talk about the scars, they’d listen. The whumpee starting to cry, and thanking them, and their teammates all crowding around for a group hug, trying to comfort them.

When the whumpee starts getting hypothermic on a mission in a cold, snowy area, but they try to push through it without telling their teammates, because they haven’t been on the team very long and they don’t want to be an inconvenience. One of their teammates noticing just how much the whumpee is shivering, and telling the team leader that the whumpee needs shelter and warmth. The team leader deciding it’s time to find shelter for the night, and as soon as they’ve found shelter, going over to the whumpee and asking if they’re ok. The whumpee trying to deny that anything’s wrong, but being so cold and out of it that their leader simply ignores them and leads them to sit down. The rest of the team helping the leader get the whumpee situated in the leader’s arms, and then wrapping the two in a blanket. The whumpee leaning into the team leader’s touch almost involuntarily, too cold to stop themself, and the leader gently scolding them about hiding how cold they were as they hold them close, trying to share as much warmth as possible.

When the whumpee wakes up feeling horrible in the middle of the night, but they decide not to bother anyone about it until morning. Them just curling up in a ball under their blankets, crying silently and gritting their teeth as they wait for morning. One of their teammates coming to check on them when they don’t show up for breakfast, and finding the whumpee still curled up, shivering under their blankets and covered in sweat. The teammate touching the whumpee’s forehead and finding a fever, then running to get the team leader, knowing they’ll know how to help the whumpee.
