One time one evening a decade ago in SoCal, I was looking at messier objects with my Meade reflector telescope. I know Messier 31 Andromeda was the focus. I felt delight. I stepped back and saw a light arc straight across. I thought satellite. Now if it split in two that would be interesting. It then split in two. I thought huh. Shrugged and thought to myself, if it comes back together now that would be something. It came back together as one. Okay. Too strange. I decided to take my telescope and go back inside.

Never really decided what it was. More trouble that it did what I thought. Have seen lots of satellites and identified them with applications. This was definitely unusual.

Sometimes I do wonder if there was as Jaques Vallee says, a “psychic” connection. Where it seemed to answer and perform to my thoughts. I don’t know.

I like to think the universe just likes to play. Maybe that’s the best answer to the high strangeness each of us encounters in our own daily path.
