My Fourth of July decorations include my collection of homemade bears, Raggedy Ann dolls, and homemade small pillows. The homemade pillows and bears are special to me because my mom sewed them for me many years ago before she passed away. I love how thoughtful she was. She loved to make bears, pillows, and bunnies for people in any particular theme they wanted. I love mixing them with some of my Boyd’s Bear collection as well as random bears I have found. The Raggedy Ann dolls were made by me. My mom almost always signed her dolls with her name and the year she made them. It is fun to look at her signature and the date it was made. They are a treasure for me to have and to remember her by.
