thinking about fleetwood mac and how they actually sang songs about each other. and performed them. about how much they loved or hated each other like what the fuck how

I mean can you imagine. singing about how somebody broke your heart and they’re literally harmonizing. they’re right fucking there. they’re in touching distance. insanity! complete insanity! I would either break down crying or fully snap and break their neck

fucking. silver springs!!! ‘you’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you!’ no fucking kidding he won’t stevie he’s literally behind you playing the drums! absolute madlads

This live performance feels like I’m watching my parents fighting in the kitchen

man for being one of those boring mid 2000s adventure comedy kid’s movies, the b plot of nim’s island is a seriously interesting set up and i wish it was the plot of an actually good movie

the plot is like, a girl lives on an island with her father, who goes missing at sea. she emails her favorite author, who writes a series of indiana jones-esque adventure books under his own name, asking for help in finding her father (under the impression the books are autobiographical). the author is actually a very anxious and agoraphobic woman but feels obligated to help the girl and decides to try to travel to the island, all the while conversing with her subconscious (played as the indiana jones version of herself from the books she writes)

it’s a hell of a set up for a B plot, but the rest of the movie is justnothing. like 90% just slapstick animal adventure stuff. it’s like if the story about the onion farmer and the teacher was attached to journey to the center of the earth (2008) instead of holes.

galavant was ahead of its time. the world wasn’t ready for it in 2015. if that show had come out in a post-crazy ex girlfriend era we’d be watching new seasons of galavant right now.

if they’d held off just a couple years until people started realizing game of thrones was bad?? what a world

im a bad person who thinks bad thoughts like ‘ew what is that girl wearing’ and then remember that im supposed to be positive about all things and then think ‘no she can wear what she wants, fuck what other people say damn girl u look fabulous’ and im just a teeny bit hypocritical tbh

I was always taught by my mother, That the first thought that goes through your mind is what you have been conditioned to think. What you think next defines who you are.

i havent seen this post in like 3 years but i was telling the bolded bit to a coworker the other night

this is fate

this is the one post that’s stuck with me through my entire time on this site

I remind myself of this a lot.

Constantly thinking about how Mikey might have a worse temper than Raph but he just knows how to control it better and keeps a lot of it repressed inside, bc being so angry drains him physically and mentally, which would explain why the angry Mikey was so large when compared to the other aspects of his personality.

Really genuinely feel like we need to bring back internet safety classes.

like this isn’t about “no one on the internet is your friend” it’s about “everyone on the internet can be entirely anonymous and disappear at a moment’s notice and you need to be aware of that and be sure of people’s intentions” it’s about “that person might be really nice and giving or they might be scamming you and you need to be able to tell the difference” it’s about “you need to be sure that the link you’re clicking on is going to take you to the right place”

it’s basic stuff i’m not trying to scare people but you need! to practice healthy skepticism online!!
