it had been a long day for leo. he had spent the entire day in bunker 9, trying to figure out why his machine was not working. while he normally liked working on his projects, he wanted nothing more than to go back to his cabin to take a nap with you. he missed your voice and your touch as it had been a while since the two of you spent some time alone together. deciding that he would finish his project later, he left the bunk and headed straight to his cabin, only to find you in his bed. you were asleep and wearing one of his clean shirts, cuddled up under his blanket.
“oh, bonita,” he sighed softly, “i’m sorry i was away for so long.”
climbing into the bed, he tried not to wake you. you looked so cute and comfortable, making him smile softly.
“goodnight, mi amor. dream of me?”

“hey babe, have you seen my…”
percy stopped as he saw you. the two of you had been watching a movie in his cabin as he suddenly remembered he hadn’t seen his blue sweater for a while, so he started searching for it, leaving you in his bed. you were so comfortable and warm, you fell asleep without a sound. when percy turned back around and found you asleep in his bed. letting out a soft sigh, he walked towards his bed, deciding that you sleeping in his bed and wearing his clothes was his favorite view from now on. he pressed a kiss to your forehead and tucked you in a little tighter.
Lots of comedy potential if you headcanon Southern Water Tribe marriage customs being as lax and easy going as Inuit and Inupiat (and likely Yup'iit but I don’t know enough to say for sure) ones and Aang accidentally proposed to Katara and as far as she was concerned they kept marrying and divorcing and marrying again throughout their travels.
Sokka didn’t want to insult his intelligence as someone who has traveled quite a bit and was probably expected to know cultural stuff as an Avatar so he never explained it. But Aang asks how to do things properly years later and Sokka’s like “??? Aren’t you two, like, already??????” and spells it out for him.
Then and Aang’s like “I was a married man this entire time?!?!”
And Sokka goes “Not exactly, you two went through some divorces–”
