Yes they did! God, I love Jack and Jill competitions, they are the coolest. They’re like the best part of a dance social (spontaneity; leaning into the lead-follow connection; the joy of dancing with different people and not just your choreography partner, so you get the same moves and steps with different style and feeling and nuance) but combined with the absolutely insane level of skill that you get when people have been dancing as amateurs and professionals for literal years.

Yooo as I’ve been whining about, I’m a grad student working towards a Masters Ed. in mental health counseling. At the moment, I’m taking an elective course in college counseling for high school students and I need a victim volunteer in their Junior year of high school to experiment on practice with.
This would involve 2-3 skype or in person chats if in the NYC area. The point is to get you started (or keep you going) on your college search and application process while developing a solid timeline for you to work with. This is especially relevant if you’re a junior and you’ve never seen your school’s college counselor for more than 5 minutes (my personal experience).
Credentials… I got myself into an Ivy League university, I’m currently in grad school, and I wrote SAT prep for years so I don’t anticipate being too horrible at this (=u=)b I mean I could be, but.
For your part, you do need to be in the US and a junior who intends to go to college in any form. In return, obviously you get one-on-one guidance, but I’m also willing to write you a recommendation letter as an outside source at the conclusion.
