So, it’s the very end of may, and there’s this whole "mermay challenge” thing that I completely forgot every year, and I wanted to give it a quick shot. But I’ve also wanted to draw Gertrude.
Oh boy, I do love compromise.
And for some reason, Mermaid’s blood is blue in their universe. (just the avoid to being too gory with the usual red).

It’s Mona Lisa, but it’s more Mona than Lisa.

I actually had this little joke for a while, and since there’s a little art contest around this painting on deviantart going on, it was the right moment to do it !
It took me slightly longer to do than what I’ve expected, because I wanted to do the background at least in a similar way than the original.

Little illustration made since Yesterday was Geraldine’s “anniversary”, the 21th April.

She’s in her younger years, here, late teenager. She used to play a lot of guitar at this time. She usually played more “punk” stylized music, but she knew how to play more acoustic and peaceful song.
Back then, it was one of her hobbies, something I will explore and details pretty soon !
Nowadays, she doesn’t play guitar that much, with job and parenthood, but, she can still play it, occasionally.

Perhaps letting Mona oversee the basket while Chloe hunts for the Easter eggs wasn’t the best idea.
Mona isn’t really good at controlling her appetite, specially with this amount of sweets right under her nose. But she saved one for her friend ! One that she already have a bite in it, but it counts.

Well, at least, they still have the wrappers, it’s still proof that they found the eggs ! So… it’s good ?

Let’s introduce two of Niki’s Goblin friends, MoletteandSatia ! I was doing some characters research, and I kinda likes theses one, I wanted to make OC out of them.

Molette is Niki’s closest (girl)friend. She’s quite clumsy and doesn’t really like dangerous adventures as much as Niki, so she prefer crafting some gadgets in her lab. She invents various things for her village, sometimes it helps a lot, sometimes it fix situation that never needed any fixing in the first place. She’s can be very eccentric when it comes to her invention, and take her passion very seriously, but beside that, she’s really shy and cautious person.
They know each other for a very long time now, and shared a lot of sweets moments with her. They’re basically a nice and cute couple who like doing silly stuff together.
She think the world of Niki and wish she could be as courageous and strong as her. She is in really good term with David, as the two share the same love for gadgets

Satiais a chaotic Goblin shaped like a friend. She’s extremely voracious and kind of wild, she would do anything to satisfy her huge appetite. A a great friend of Niki and Molette, she would come frequently in more adventures if she wasn’t slightly lazy. She used to come from another Goblin Clan, but her village got attacked. This is where she got the scars on her faces, she doesn’t really like to talk about it. She lives with Molette most of the time, but she doesn’t mind sleeping outside. She also has a weird sense of humor, making jokes mostly about foods. She likes to friendly annoy David sometimes, specifically flirting with him.
