Lara (13/14) - Her character is meant to represent magical girls, who usually range in age between 10 - 15 years old. But Lara definitely seems like the youngest of the bunch.

Pao-lin (16) (Based on her confirmed age in Season 1)
Subaru (16 - 18)
Thomas (16 - 18)
College Aged: (18 - 23)
Karina (19) (Based on her confirmed age in Season 1)

Barnaby (27) (Based on his confirmed age in Season 1)
Keith (28 - 30) - His character has never felt like one of the older heroes (like Nathan, Antonio, and Kotetsu), but he also didn’t feel like a teen or early 20 year old either. So I can see him being around Barnaby’s age, just a little bit older.
Early to Mid 30s:
Agnes (33 - 35)
Nathan (34/35) - Nathan feels younger than Kotetsu and Antonio, but not by much. I feel like Nathan was already 30+ in Season 1, so I would be surprised if they were younger than that, tbh.
Mid to Late 30s +:
Antonio (35/36) - Apparently, Antonio is younger than Kotetsu. Though there was a drama CD that made it clear that they attended school together, so I don’t see him being that much younger.
Yuri (35 - 37) - I can see him being close to Kotetsu in age. He was a teen when his dad started drinking and the problems and cover-ups and staged stuff to keep Mr. Legend on top was all happening. While Kotetsu admired him as a older child and met Mr. Legend when he was still in his prime. So I feel Yuri should be around Kotetsu’s age. The connection they share via Mr. Legend also makes me think that it would be neat if they were the same age. Plus, he is a judge, and most judges are like 40+ years old.
Kotetsu (36/37) - He’s the oldest of the bunch (in regards to heroes anyway, it could be possible that Yuri is older).
*All of the confirmed ages I got from a This Is Sternbild post (all the way back in 2011). I didn’t personally agree with some of the takes on ages. This is also mostly just to reflect my own personal view on how I see the characters and the vibes they give off, etc.
Edit: We now have Kotetsu’s official age!
In the recent livestream it was revealed that Kotetsu was born in NC1942, debuted as a hero at the age of 25, was 26 when Kaede was born, was 35 in Season 1, and is now 38 years old as of Season 2!

We got official confirmation that Antonio is 38 years old too! That makes sense to me, since he and Kotetsu both went to school together. I don’t know where fandom got the idea that Antonio was slightly younger, but the official confirmation is that they are the same age.
Lloyds is 42 years old. This book includes a scenerio from one of the episodes and Lloyds age was the only one given, because they forgot to erase it. Info comes from どんける灰都2.1/二期履修済み @dunkel_heid.
The website Anime!Anime! did a poll from April 24th, 2022 to May 1st, 2022. It asked the respondents what their most recommended anime for Spring 2022 was.

Youtube recommended me this cool video. The uploader used AI to design realistic depictions of the T&B cast. They used their Season 1 designs. It would be cool if they did another version using Season 2 designs and characters. Here is the video:

Not gonna lie, these past days I’ve been wondering about how Yuri would look like if he was a live action character, though it’s hard to find an exact model for him.
Still I’d love to see some appreciation for his own (I guess russian lol) features like his larger nose! It’s like, in every single character in T&B you can totally see the different races and ethnicities of all the characters and actually having pretty decent and solid designs.
(Something like this, I definitely want a more ethnic nose for him tho)
But I’ve been sketching him for a bit (I might start uploading art again after a few years of burnout lol) and I’ve been wondering if a good pick could be Tom Hiddleston? At least as a faceclaim mostly because of the eyes and the soft features such as his lips, eyes and cheekbone structure.

@carito-dorito I do wonder, in regards to Antonio, if it is just because of the picture they used that the result ended up being lighter skinned. But, this is also AI, and AI are known to show racism , so him being whitewashed here by the AI wouldn’t be that farfetched.
Also, I agree with you on Keith, I also find a lot of the hair for these to be a little off / unrealistic looking, not even in styling, but in texture.

Okay, so, I’ve had tea and breakfast now, so I’m awake. Looking closer at the preview text they provide, the article also has a section where they (the magazine) write about how Kotetsu and Barnaby would be as marriage partners (like, in general, not necessarily to each other or anything like that, lol).
First there are little blurbs about the characters this season. Kotetsu’s mentions how he is doing yoga for his health at Kaede’s insistence, but that he isn’t very health conscious with his food intake. The fact that they are mentioning this here is just adding fuel to the fire, for me anyway, that Kotetsu is going to have some kind of health scare in the second cour. Especially since he is only two years away from 40 years old now.
About him as a marriage partner, we have:

While Kotetsu does have his share of flaws, his very nature is that of a man you can rely on! Being depended on appears to be something that makes him happy. So it would probably be in your best interest to actively depend on him when you are distressed or in trouble!?

I love how both Kotetsu and Barnaby have basically done both of these things. Barnaby learned how to actively rely on Kotetsu when he is in distress and trouble, and Kotetsu has acclimated himself to Barnaby’s celebrity status and fame and all the lifestyle stuff that comes with it.
Basically, in conclusion…

Honestly, while I don’t expect Tiger & Bunny 2 to really get nominated or win any big awards in the usual anime award ceremonies that happen (like Crunchyroll or Anime Trending, etc.). The one award the series absolutely should be nominated for and win is Best Character Designs.
I mean, let’s just take a look:
I grabbed head shots because one of the biggest issues in anime (character design-wise) is the idea of “same face syndrome,” where the characters all basically have the same eyes, nose, and mouth shapes, with the differing aspects being hair (style and color), eye color, and other added/external features, such as accessories and outfits.
Now, the T&B characters do have aspects of this - the characters all have very distinct outfits and styles, they have various hair and eye colors, various hair styles as well, and many of them wear accessories and things (earrings, necklaces, shades, Agnes’ makeup, etc.). But where we getting interesting designs here is with things like Kotetsu’s cat shaped beard, Antonio’s sideburns, and the differing skin tones.
This is when we get into the silhouette aspect of the T&B character designs. Even when certain characters may share a similar trait (same sort of nose or jawline) they will usually have some other aspects of their designs that set them apart from each other. Many of the male characters have thicker necks, jaw lines vary from character to character (Antonio has a cleft chin), certain characters have very distinct noses (Yuri, Antonio, Ryan), others have rounder faces because of their youth/age (Lara and Pao-lin), and Subaru has very present and distinct eyebrows, etc. etc.
Then you have general physical physique too, with Antonio being very buff, Yuri being very thin and tired looking, Agnes (in Season 2) still looking sharp and in-charge, but also with added weight to her form, and so forth.
Like, there is no way you can mix these characters up, no “same face syndrome” in sight, and the character designs aren’t too intricate that they are impossible to animate either. So, if there is an award ceremony for this year of anime, and if there is a Best Character Design award, and T&B 2 isn’t (at the very least) nominated, then I will have lost all faith in the anime community as a whole (not that I have a whole lot to begin with, but still).
Tiger & Bunny 2 has such excellent character designs that really take full advantage of the setting of the series and real life diversity that comes with that setting (a city based on New York City). It deserves some recognition for that.
