Nymphéas

The Water Lilies are a series of paintings realized by the French impressionist paintor, Claude Monet (1840-1926), during the last years of his life. Representing the pond in his Giverny garden, the artist was suffering from a cataract when these works were made.

(The images show some details of various elements from the series of oil paintings named the “Nymphéas”, in English, “the Water Lilies”, executed between 1914 and 1926)
