Stocking the freezer after the BIG MELTDOWN. We lost the entire content of our freezer a while back. That was an awful gross mess to clean up. Starting fresh with our homemade applesauce and soups. Fortunately we did have some garden harvest left.#healthyfood #healthyrecipes #foodbloggerlife #homemadefoodjunkie #foodie #freezermeals #freezercooking #freezerstash #gardenharvest #gardeners #gardenlife #instagardenlovers #puttingfoodby #puttingfoodup #foodstorage #freezerfood https://www.instagram.com/p/BtXH_qlghQz/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=fl1pu0yqg873
We transplanted the clematis vine again. Poor thing it’s been moved three times in the last four years. Dave built it a concrete container wall to keep it moist and the roots cool. We hope it loves climbing on the garden fence on THIS side of the garden better that the other. #garden #gardenwork #transplantingtime #clematisvine #homemadefoodjunkie #gardenblog #gardenblogger #instagardener #instagardenlovers https://www.instagram.com/p/BtHR3nggtgQ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1kfd83d17qiw8

@urbanfoodspaces It’s so fascinating to watch the growing process. Plants’ lives may be as short as a few weeks or months, but they go through distinct changes as they grow, just as people do. The stages that plants go through are from seed to sprout, then through vegetative, budding, flowering, and ripening stages. Similarly, the nutritional needs of people and plants change as they grow.
