A great friend and artist, Misa, asked me to be a part of an exciting project. It’s book illustrating onomatopoeia, which are Japanese phases, starring her two children Maceo and Maite. Each page showcases an artist’s interpretation of a onomatopoeia.

My word was “shaka-shaka” usually reserved for cocktails, instead I have them making black tea and lemon slushies.
