The reality of prison

Paul Nicholas Miller was calling for a race war and using ethnic slurs when he spoke to his thousands of followers on social media before the law caught up with him in March. Tuesday, Miller cried in court as a judge sentenced him to 41 months in prison on multiple firearms charges, according to NBC Miami.

“Miller admitted that he had bought the ammunition and that he had tried to build his own rifle in part to learn about firearms manufacturing in preparation for a coming civil war,” prosecutors said in a news release. “In the months immediately before his arrest, Miller had made hundreds of internet posts publicizing his animosity towards various minority groups and his support for the initiation of a race-based civil war in the United States.”

According to Law and Crime, he applied for a concealed license permit in Floridaandallegedly lied on the application about being a convicted felon.

Besides treason, Trump Supporters cry in public

Democrats present damning video evidence in Trump’s Impeachment Trial

“You ask what a high crime and misdemeanor is under our Constitution, that’s a high crime and misdemeanor. If that’s not an impeachable offense, then there is no such thing.”

Ginni Thomas is the wife of Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas.  She has been in the news lately, for sending many deranged text messages to Mark Meadows supporting conspiracy theories about Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory.  She was present at the ½/21 insurrection.

It has long been known that Ms. Thomas has been paid by right-wing groups with cases before the court, creating an obvious conflict of interest for her husband.  In 2017-18, her lobbying firm was paid over $200,000 by the Center for Security Policy.

On January 19, 2022, Thomas was the only justice to vote against letting the National Archives give the House Select Committee investigating January 6 hundreds of pages of documents from T*ump’s time infesting the White House.  Quid pro quo?

A revolution doesn’t guarantee freedom, rather it guarantees oppression under a different system. Insurrection guarantees freedom since no matter who makes what rules, they won’t be obeyed. Saying you’ll only obey just and ethical rules won’t work. You can’t pick and choose since what is seen as just and ethical for one group may be seen in the opposite light by another. The same goes for morality, which we all know should be written in the same book as ghosts, unicorns, elves and dragons.
