¿Por qué él era tan egoísta?

Condiciones y temores rondaban por su cabeza, nunca logré acercarme lo suficiente, nunca llegué a ser su confidente. Él tenía miedo, aunque no lo demostrara, él no estaba bien, aunque aparentaba estarlo. Él no era el egoísta, los demás lo eran; tan enfocados en recibir ayuda en vez de ofrecerla, Tan acostumbrados y cegados en sus propios asuntos.Si tan solo hubiesen dejado de lado su individualidad, y aplicado un poco de interés en las necesidades de aquel chico, todo hubiese sido distinto. Si tan solo hubiesen visto ma allá de sus problemas, él estaría aquí, él aun estaría vivo. Le dicen egoísta por no pensar en las personas que lo amaban; pero ninguno acepta su propio egoísmo. Tal vez cuando lo acepten podrán lograr entender porqué lo hizo.

Saying you’ll only obey just and ethical rules won’t work. You can’t pick and choose since what is seen as just and ethical for one group may be seen in the opposite light by another. The same goes for morality, which we all know should be written in the same book as ghosts, unicorns, elves and dragons.

Rights are spooks. The only “rights” that exist are what you can take and keep for yourself.
