Inu-spiration 3: A Solstice Reverse Bang: Last Call for Sign-Ups: Artists ANDWriters!
Hello everyone! Are you still hoping to sign up for our 2022 @inu-spiration Solstice Reverse Bang? The mods would like to announce that today and tomorrow are the FINAL days for sign-ups, and because of the way the numbers are working out, we are able to accept registrations from both artists AND writers!
Registrations need to be submitted by the end of the day on April 21.
If you are an ARTIST, please sign up here. If you are a WRITER, please sign up here.
Important deadlines:
For ARTISTS, the deadline for submitting a sketch is April 28. (A mod will reach out to you after tomorrow’s registration deadline.)
PAIRINGS will be announced April 29.
We are so very excited to see all the wonderful creations, and look forward to working with ALL of our participants!

Hello everyone! We are so pleased to announce that @inu-spiration is back, with a new event, and a very special date!
Inu-spiration 3: A Solstice Reverse Bang will take place on June 21, 2022!
A reverse bang is an event inspired by ‘Big Bangs’ – in which fanfiction writers create stories for artists to make beautiful creations from. A ‘Reverse Bang’ operates in the reverse. Artists create and then submit fanart first, for fanfiction writers to then create a work inspired from it.
Sign-ups for artists will begin on April 1st! Sign-ups for writers will begin April 8th!

Hey everyone! My Halloween Bang contribution for @inu-spiration has been available on AO3 all day, but I’ve been at work and we were so busy I wasn’t able to put a link here on tumblr. I didn’t even get time to stare at this gorgeous art by @mickisketch - doesn’t it make you want to weep at how beautiful it is?!
The next two chapters are done, and will be posted over the next two weeks. After those are up, I would love to say it will have a regular update pattern, but every time I promise something like that, life taps me on the shoulder and reminds me that my time is not my own. We’ll just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best hmmm?

High priestesses are meant to be mostly alone. The last one had taken such isolation too far, had separated herself from the king and queen, from the Immortal Palace, from her guardian.

The same, but different. The last high priestess had met a tragic end; Kagome is instead damned by the Divine for her mistake, a death deserved.
The monsters will take her. The Divine will let them.
I’m going to get you, her reflection proclaims, and it’s her but it’s not. The eyes are colder, darker. The hair is midnight black, a void compared to Kagome’s pure Divine-blue. This woman is her. It’s not her. This woman, this, this—
It’s finally @inu-spiration time! I finished this piece a long while ago, just in time for the artists sing up, and even if in the start I wasn’t sure I had the time to partecipate (bad schedule, BAD) I knew this drawing had a story in it just waiting to be found… And I’m so glad I decided to get into the big bang since @witchygirl99 saw so much more in this drawing than I could ever anticipate! Her story is the twisted fairy tale I had vaguely dreamt of while painting this, only it is fully fleshed in her perfect writing!
GO GO GO read it here, and wait for more art, since she totally inspired me just with the first chapter, and I’m sure I’ll have so much to paint for the next ones!
