I love how like all the founding Invaders are cat people despite how others would probably stereotype most of them as dog people. Jim has a cat, Bucky has a cat, Steve wishes he had the time and place for a cat, Namor is like a cat-

Oh. Ah. That makes sense, then. Carry on.

How is Namor like a cat you ask?

  • Is prickly? Check
  • Likes fish? Check
  • Huntsplanes birds? Check
  • Walks into every place like he owns it? Check
  • Has a small circle of people he can tolerate? Check
  • Is territorial? Check
  • Is sometimes a dick just to be a dick? Check
  • Has a fondness for children? Check
  • Hisses when you get too close? Check and check
