Me: Oh man, I wanna draw more Bob Gray! Brain, give me ideas! My Brain: Hmmmmm….. what if he was a nOIR STYLE LOOKING DETECTIVE IMAGINE THE IRONY OF HIM SOLVING HIS OWN CRIMES OOOO Me: My Brain: AND HE HAS A SICK RIDE TOO Me: Wow that is so stupid… I won’t rest until I make it happen.
Admittedly I may not have made it happen very good because BOY did I have a lot more difficulties with it than I expected, the worst of which was thE HAT. I apperently can’t understand how hats work to save my life so my apologies if it still looks weird but I’ve stared at it for so long it’s all starting to blur together. Aside from that though, this was way more fun than it had any right to be.
I’ve been wanting to draw him for ages but couldn’t for the life of me come up with any ideas so this was an incredably refreshing and fun peice to work on. …And now I need to draw him even more oofie.
Trying to level up my background skills and hOLY moly this has got to be one of the most complex ones I’ve done yet simply because of how much overlap and things to keep track of there were.
So there are probably quite a few derps here and there, but I’m still super happy with it as I didn’t even expect to be able to finish it without my brain exploding. Plus, learning stuff, yay!
AAAAAAAAA I got my Diamond Select Pennywise bust! Way earlier than I expected it, too! His left eye’s paint is a bit chipped on the end, but it shouldn’t be a hard fix. Besides that though, he’s so nice and detailed! I love IT.
Apparently around this time of year I get the urge to draw cosmic Penny, only this time my brain was like “Okay but hear me out what if we get inspired by NEBULAS??” and I was like wow yes.
Also experimenting with a new watermark/logo thing that I might change around later, but will hopefully be less annoying and ugly now.
I really need to draw more of this form because oooof I love the design so much, but also lotsa limbs to keep track of and detail and oh boi.
I probably managed to mess up a whole bunch of stuff, but it was fun and could have gone a lot worse for a first-ish attempt. (Also gosh I missed drawing him. )
