Bucas Grande Island
With no itinerary, I decided to stay in Siargao Island for a week and with a constant talking I made friends with the local surfers. It was my first visit and I had a glimpse of the different side of the island. Early mornings and late afternoons are usually spent at the sea as I recklessly sit in between my surfboard looking at the horizon waiting for the ‘unbroken green wave.’
No photograph can capture the moment and the amount of emotion we felt as we continue to share a couple of waves while it was drizzling. Sliding in wave after wave. It was a moment of pure bliss.

Ended the three-day journey from Camiguin Island with a view of a heart-shaped cay as seen from the window seat.
Cebu has been blessed with a number of brimming waterfalls and one of them is Cambais Falls. It looks intimate and invites a gleeful exploration instead of a fearful awe. And exploration is what you need to do as you need to climb wet stones and a ladder to explore this falls.

Have you experienced hotel staffs go out of their way to HELP you out?

For me it happened at the beginning of this month when we stayed at Subic Bay MANSION GARDEN HOTEL for 3 days.
.
The morning of our last day, I asked for a car to drive us to the airport (3 hours away) at 11pm. The STAFF confirmed my requests and told us he’ll look for it.
.
We were supposed to take the bus but my partner got sick, so we want to travel as comfortable as we can.
.
On the night we checked-out, I asked the receptionist (not the one i previously talked to) where’s the CAR I asked for, she said that there weren’t any notes nor was informed about it.
.
In my head I was panicking because we can’t miss our flight!! She then asked the other staff if he knows any driver available to drive us to the airport in Manila.
.
They were both calmed and made us feel assured that we will be OKAY
.
It was already 12 am and finally they got a driver for us. We managed to arrive to the airport on time!

.
I highly recommend to stay in MANSION GARDEN HOTEL if you travel to Subic Bay, Philippines. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating; close to bars, mall, and restaurants; have a nice buffet breakfast (both Filipino and continental food); nice pool, and affordable price!
