Like yes it’s a traditionally feminine style but it gives me gender euphoria in my personal experience of masculinity.

ctinarose will defend each other to the very ends of the earth but for such different reasons. hannah defends tina because she doesn’t think of herself as “worthy” enough, and is willing to put herself in risk in order to protect the person she thinks is actually worthy and “good” enough to deserve saving (tina). she sees tina as the good in the world, and doesn’t want her to be exposed to the same things hannah was, which is why she’s so quick to defend and protect, so tina doesn’t have to undergo everything hannah’s had to suffer through. tina, however, protects hannah because she does see her as worthy and good. she doesn’t necessarily pity hannah, because that’s not the right word, but she sees hannah for who she is (broken, tired, just trying to do what’s right) instead of the monster the server (and hannah herself) has seen her as ever since the red banquet. she protects hannah because she knows hannah won’t protect herself, and desperately wants to show hannah she is worth saving. hannah attempts to try to protect tina physically, with armor and defenses, but tina knows what hannah needs more than anything is an emotional connection, someone to turn to and who will listen to hannah instead of just belittling or outright ignoring her emotions. they both just ultimately want each other to be happy and safe but their ways of getting that across to each other are so different and unique to their circumstances and mental states, and yet they’re so perfect for each other because of those differences
