“Why are you hiding behind me? What did you do?” Jack asked, but got the answer when the Delanceys came running after you seconds after.
You felt the pain emulating throughout your body, the hunt had not ended well. Everyone had gotten hurt, and you only made it out because of Jack’s powers.
When you got back at the bunker everyone had gone their own separate ways to their rooms to get some rest. You had been laying in bed for over an hour unable to fall asleep, the hunt weighed too heavy on your mind.
there was a knock on the door
“come in”
the light from the hallway flowed into the room, a shadow of a figure fell across the floor
“I heard you tossing and turning, are you all right?”
You looked up at the figure to see it was Jack
“I’m alright, I just can’t fall asleep, no need to worry about me.”
Jack stepped closer to your bed and you sat up.
“I do worry about you Y/N, I care about you, you worry for people you care about.”
You and the nephilim had grown close over the last year, he had become your best friend, you felt for him in a way you never had before.
“Can I stay?”
“Yes”

Your head hit the bunker floor with a sickening thump.
Jack had been trying to learn how to use his powers, for good. he didn’t want to be like his Father so you had been helping him.
However today Jack’s powers were not very controlled and you had been thrown across the library.
“Y/N!! Y/N, I’m so sorry.. I-I didn’t mean to-”
Dean had heard the noise and rushed in the room, he still wasn’t a big fan of Jack.
“What the hell did you do, get away from her!”
you tried getting up but you could feel the room spinning
“No, Dean, please it was an accident! Jack didn’t mean to-”
“No Y/N, dean’s right, you should be afraid of me. I’m a monster.”
with a flap of wings Jack was gone
