She’s wiped. That’s it. You have this girl wrapped around your finger to the point where you could ask anything of her and she’d do it. Everyone said she had it bad for you, especially when she started giving heart eyes across the room, only to glare hard at anyone who caught her. They never spoke about what they saw in that classroom after a warning look from Jade. In the friend group, they noticed how every time you did something she’d go all red in the face, quiet, and a rare smile would take to her face.

It didn’t surprise anyone when you two announced you were dating, everyone saw it coming a mile away. What no one was ready for was how flustered Jade got around you. The amount of small teasing nearly got some people *cough* Andre *cough* a little beat up.

“You should come over tonight.” You say, sliding into the seat beside Jade. She glances your way. “We could cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie or something. I’d be cute.” You lean against her with a smile.

Jade’s face goes red at the thought of being alone with you. As out of character as it was, she just had no idea how to react to you. Everyone she’d been with before was a bad/pretty boy type and you were…well you in simple terms.

When she didn’t answer you bite your lip. “We don’t have to if you don’t want to. It was just a suggestion.”

“No, I want to.” She confirms.

“Okay, yay then.” You perk right back up much to her delight. “How’s like six? We can order food or something.” You offer, smiling when she nods. “Cool! I’ll see you then.” You press a kiss to her cheek and head off, missing the way that Jade’s face lights up a bright shade of red.

She arrives on time later that day, technically a little earlier than intended but she showed up nevertheless. You had this big smile on the entire time, inviting her in and asking her what kind of food she wanted to order. She was just swooning over every little action that you made leading up to picking the movie.

The two of you sit on the couch, a small bit of room between the two of you. “Do I make you nervous Jade?” You suddenly ask, getting her to look at you. “Cause I have a sneaky suspicion that I do.”

“What?” Her head tilts to the side. “Nervous? Me? About you? No chance.” She holds her head high.

“Uh-huh.” You hum, nodding as you turn your head away slightly. “So if I were to just…” You slide over on the couch, closer to her till your knees touch. Jade’s face turns shades as you lean closer to her. “See then you go and do that and now I’m thinking that I do, in fact, make you nervous.” You state your smile now a smirk.

Jade clears her throat, “no, you don’t. You’re just being stupid.” She states, shaking her head.

“Oh really?” You muse, moving just a little closer so your shoulder to shoulder, hip to hip. “You sure about that?”

When she looks away you start to laugh. “It’s not funny.” She protests.

“No, you’re right.” You turn her head to face you. “It’s adorable.”
