As reader Mark Brice pointed out (thanks!), it’s shameful not to officially add Janis Joplin + Southern Comfort to the list of preferences. Not only was the whiskey featured on a Joplin LP cover, she allegedly boosted sales to the point where SoCo gave her a lynx coat as a thank-you.
