My favourite chipmunk being absolutely adorable in Season 4′s episode “The Crush” :)
I won’t give away any spoilers, but this episode had a great little storyline, was so cute, and what Alvin says to Simon at the end is so heartwarming and such a great message :)
Even though I really ship Simon and Jeanette, and Simonette was completely dead in this episode, it didn’t ruin the ship for me, instead it made room for development (not that Simonette will ever be canon, but hypothetically):
First of all, we’ve seen Alvin flirting with all kinds of girls, but we’ve never seen Simon with a crush, and I always wanted to see how he would act - this episode is everything I imagined only 10x better! Now I can happily think of him acting like this with Jeanette :) Secondly, some of Simon’s previous crushes were quickly shown, and it seems has a type: all four girls wore glasses, 3 of the 4 were purple-themed, one girl was really smart / one was an environmentalist / and one was clumsy & shy… now who does that sound like?

- u got these two teenage girls who r playing around and chattering and eating pretty cake and then sitting next to them is two brothers who can’t STAND each other
- but the only time they mutually agree to work together is when athy and jeanette have started to get into boys
- and they’re like oh HELL NO

- on the good days Anastacius plays pranks on Claude with the girls!!! And they’re both snickering and Claude is very well aware they’re abt to do smth horrible

- but sometimes the cat will go to Anastacius and Jeanette
- and that’s when chaos starts
